Food for thought - Trump & Ukraine.

Why would Trump try and get dirt on the son of a candidate that can't win the 2020 election? Does anyone think Biden could win? Half of the leftist press is constantly writing negative stories about him. Thats not even considering centerists and right wing people. Biden doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning so going after dirt for the election would only be shooting oneself in the foot.

Now it could also be to get the left to draw back a little on attacks by attacking a figurehead for the left.... but come on, Joe has been discredited by his own party let alone the others.

If you really think that this is going to go the way of impeaching trump over just this.......dot...... Thanks for the win in 2020.

P.s I really don't want to vote for Trump in 2020 but **** letting the crazy left win.

I consider voting against Democrats an act of self-defense.

It has everything to do with that one word embedded in the transcript that seems so out of place...

He's not, if anything, Biden and the left are trying to use his position as one of Trumps potential rivals in the next election, much like he did with Ukraine, to protect himself and his son from their corruption.

If you are going to look into one form of corruption, why wouldn't you at least mention possible others? I would. It just makes sense. So to project this as it was the secret intent, would just be a little much. I want some proof or it's just speculation.

What people aren't realizing is that Biden is the sacrificial lamb that Trump is offering up to them. Crowdstrike is the exchange.

They keep thinking Trump is asking them to go after Biden for him, which is absurd. The previous administration has been protecting Biden and his son from them. Trump just said, hey # that #, let's root out corruption together.

Crowdstrike is also the company that the DNC hired after they were "hacked" and it was Crowdstrike that said it was the Russians.

The issue raised in the released transcript and the released whistle blower complaint was already enough to get an impeachment inquiry started.

That may end up as one of the articles of impeachment - Bribery/Extortion.

But I think what we see from now on, and the 8 instances of obstruction from the Mueller report, will also make an article of impeachment.

I mean, just consider that in the last two days, the president has already spoken publicly on his wishes the impeachment inquiry were put an end to, perhaps by the courts. How illegal would that be? Just imagine. And he's talking about this openly.

And today he says he wants the name of the person who talked to the whistle-blower and called them a spy and said it was treason.

Obstruction will be a big part.

Because Trump knows that they will rig it so Biden wins.
He knows this so he’s not letting them do it so easily.
If he gets Biden out of the way then the dems will be left with two types of socialism to choose from.
This would guarantee Trumps win if he gets Biden out of the way.

I want to say something to you before I get into the response. I hope it will better help you understand my point of view and perspective. I don't want you to think I am being combative. I just want to have a discussion.
I am a lot more critical of Trump then I portray. The way things are going, I have been defending him more then I would like to. I have not made a decision of how bad or how good a guy he is. I am skeptical. I've decided to give him a chance along the way. Nothing that has been brought up by ANY party has persuaded me that he is so bad that there is a need to be impeached.

That was my opinion..

I don't know if this is true or not. I'm just under the impression that a "whistle blower complaint" would have to hold up to scrutiny. Has it? I'm also under the impression that there would need to be hearings on the validity? Is that a thing and if so has it?

I thought there was no determination on obstruction of justice. Was there? Can you link please. If it is obstruction that the dems bring him down with; it would be a shame. I'm not saying they shouldn't if they have the legitimate proof. Im still in the camp that it doesn't exist. I'm saying that the state of politics in America would crumble and it wouldn't be good for anyone. He can't get away with EVERYTHING but the majority of the American people will give him a pass on tons of minor stuff. Why? Because all the parties are bat # crazy and Trump is either intending or accidentally waking a lot of people up. He's getting the support a president should get when # turns so corrupt that people can't live right. Will he do whats best with that power? I am skeptical.

I'm thinking this is delusion due to propaganda but you would likely say the same of this response. No intent of insult with that said. Could you explain to me what you mean here? So I dislike Obama a LOT but if he wished an investigation about him would end and spoke about it publicly, I wouldn't bat an eye. It's a non-issue. Could you explain to me as to why it's an issue? I just think there needs to be a statement of direction toward an underling or something; for it to be inappropriate.
