pluralist.com...

Klingseisen said Kirchner’s finger gun, which according to the court was seen recoiling, made him feel “extremely threatened,” prompting him to call 911. An eyewitness, who also called the police, said she saw Kirchner, who was wearing shorts and flip-flops, “put his finger up like he was going to shoot” the neighbor.

Everyone is losing their #4%## minds... A finger gun. A finger gun, you know when you put your pointer out and stick your thumb up and say pew pew pew. Well buddy, don't be doing that anymore, at least not in Pennsylvania.

When I read stuff like this it makes me lose hope in a lot of things. In people, in our court system, in my ability to pretend to have a gun.
Just watch, pretty soon people will say that your eyes posed a "hazardous" situation!

Back ground checks needed to prevent these things from ever happening again 😎

This falls squarely on the prosecutors and judges for not standing up to this crap. All of these cases should be tossed immediately and the people that file them should be fined for wasting the court's time.

It's silly for this to be a law, but it's a gesture threatening an act of violence and adults should know better.

As an American....

This micro-aggression BS has got to stop. People need to thicken their skin. I know, it's crazy, but every human interaction you have might not be positive.

The more they pull these stunts the more it proves they're coming for our guns; it also shows how Red Flag Laws will be abused. You can't expect these people to have "common sense" when they think this makes sense.

I can think of a lot of gestures and words that are more threatening and won't get you put in front of a judge. This is nothing more than (no pun intended) triggering a bunch of idiots that can't handle it because it looks like a gun. My gosh, this is insanity.

I was going to post something but you got it perfect.

So thank you for that.

When they ban fingers, only criminals will have opposable thumbs.

The neighbor should have also been arrested and charged for his double bird because that is just as threatening as a pew pew.

Where's it stop? Middle finger makes me think someone is going to rape me?

I'm so tired of the sterilization attempts.

I want instances of rough around the edges to provide contrast to life.

Common sense finger control.

If you put both gun hands together, it forms high capacity assault hands.

Making a fist is now considered concealing a weapon.

A high-five is a weapon of mass destruction.

A peace sign is just a double barrelled weapon.

There are times and days where I wish throat-punching stupid people was legal.

Gawd forbid any one of these snowflakes go to a biker bar I sometimes visit.

Do we really need to make America so safe for everyone that we just don't talk to each other anymore?

I think we need a good old fashioned ELE to get things right again.

It's no wonder our fertilization rates are going down.

We're running out of actual men.

I would highly recommend the band "Five Finger Death Punch" to you.

If I'm still allowed to say that online without people running for their safe spaces...

I remember this one time I was out fishing, with my brother and my(since passed) grandfather.

Out of nowhere, I just happen to look over at my grandfather.....he was pointing a finger gun at me. I paused, and looked at him with confusion.

He then preceded to "pull the trigger"(lowered his thumb) while letting out a very audible(to all in the boat) fart.

It was hilarious, I still use that one on(rare) occasion today.

So Im curious...
If I now flip somebody off in a fit of road rage, moving my fist and finger up and down in angry gesticulation...

Is that now tantamount to a threat of rape?

Nice precedent, I see no problems developing from this in the future (intended sarcasm for the obtuse)

I, for one, will exploit this new arms market.

I'm going to design a rail attachment for the human index finger. So people can mount red dots/reflex sights or lasers or even lights to their new "assault fingers".
