Sounds kinda' dirty, doesn't it...my "Spurtle"? Kinda kinky, huh??

"I'm gonna' hit you with my Spurtle!"...or...I'm gonna' rub my Spurtle all over you!!"

SPURTLE...SPURTLE...SPURTLE!! (It's even fun to say!)

Do you know what a Spurtle is??

Well, it's probably one of the handiest implements you can have in the kitchen. It's like a combination of a spatula, and a spoon, and, I don't know, a bunch of other things. They're awesome!

Spurtles were originally invented in Scotland during the 15th century and they were primarily used for stirring porridge. Today they can be used for about anything you can imagine!

So, if you don't have a Spurtle in your kitchen, you better run out right now and get some Spurtle(s).

SPURTLE...SPURTLE...SPURTLE...I'm gonna' play with my "spurtle"!! And if you don't like it, I'll take my spurtle and go home!

Yes, that is what the original ones looked like.

The modern ones seem a little more handy though.

The new ones are 'broader' and have, ahem...a little upward curvature to them.

I get excited when I see my spurtle!

Looks like something they have at fraternity houses that is used in Hell week.
