Patting someone on the head, stroking their ego and telling them Everything is going to be OK is also not a realistic long-term strategy for "life" problems. Just saying.

In all respect I would disagree; haha! As if you agree to disagree, that quite Ends the conversation!! Civilized conversation, methinks, would be accepting our views differ and attempting to realize how and why they differ and if reconciliation is possible, all whilst maintaining nuetrality and civility!

Fantasy is my bread and butter, as an aspiring author lmao. I could write for days on how I think magic and fantasy are sorely needed in this world. You are right, escaping into thesethings and ONLY escaping is bad. Very much so. But at that point it's not enabling as the responsibility to do other things lies with them

I think it’s best for me not to comment anymore.. but I would like to say a few things.

I sincerely think Night is trying her hardest to help people in the kindest most unjudgemental ways as possible... and I give her kudos for that. She is a beacon of light for many on this thread and that is good.

I’d say everyone here is a good person on some level.. and I know I’ve been overly sensitive in taking things personally at times.. and for that I feel immense regret.

The Shed is a good place.. with good souls.. who sometimes make mistakes.
