I think a hurricane blew through the Shedlands. Just assessing damages and sweeping the castle floors of debris and broken glass. Those stained glass windows are hard to replace. Off to find an artisan worthy of our quality expectations. Or...we can have them imported from some old abandoned castle somewhere.

If only windows were as easy to stain as clothing!

No kidding, I still cannot eat spaghetti without getting sauce all over my shirt. Yet I won't cave and wear a bib. I always hear people say "fake it til you make it"...

You have many gifts DOE.. that’s apparent from reading your posts. You are a very creative person who needs a little writing inspiration right about now.

Hope the holidays are good to you and those close to your heart.

Apparently the Shed is not for voicing opinions about other members.. so that is something to remember in the future.

Then please don't use my reference to 'hurricane'. It was a joke and used to lighten things up.

I have always wondered why you go by so many names...Joe, "meathead", Mike Stivic. Do you suffer from multiple personalities? If so, great! Three of my dissociated personalities have been lonely, and need friends!

LOL! I needed that chuckle. His real name is Joe. Mike Stivic is the actor who played Meathead in the old comedy show All In The Family.

Well apparently I have no sense of humour. It didn’t strike me as humorous, so my apologies for that.

My real name is joe. I sign off with it when I'm being serious or sincere in my comment..

My screen name is a character from an old sit com
"All in the Family" the son in law of Archie Bunker,Michael Stivic.

I picked this name so I can poke fun at myself and sign off as "meathead". A little self deprecation goes a long way when making new friends.

Respectfully,
~joe

I've exposed my ignorance. I've heard of Archie Bunker and All in the Family but that's about it. I've not seen lots of those old classic shows. I've seen parodies of them on the likes of Family Guy and SNL.

Believe me I've got self-deprecation down...in fact, I could probably do with a little bit less.

Don't feel bad it's an old show, and says a lot more about my age than your ignorance..

Here's a quick primer and basically all you need to know...

Not to cheapen your sentiment, just keeping it light.
