Some U.S. Embassies fly the Gay Pride Flag Next to the United States Flag.

The U.S. Government has asked its embassies to not fly the Gay Pride flag. But...

Several U.S. embassies and diplomatic missions around the world are hoisting rainbow flags in honor of Pride Month, despite a slate of rejections from the Trump administration of requests to fly the flag.

The Washington Post reported Saturday that diplomatic missions in Seoul and Chennai, India sent out a press release and a video advertising the flag hanging outside their respective buildings, while the U.S. embassy in New Delhi updated its Twitter cover photo showing a rainbow projected on it.

The embassy in Santiago, Chile shows a video on its website of a diplomat flying a rainbow flag last month for the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, and the website for the Vienna embassy features a photo of the same flag.

So what do you think, ATS? Should U.S. embassies be allowed to fly "special interest" flags next to the U.S. Flag for an extended period of time?

IMO, if you allow this, then you have to allow most organized groups to display a flag, or some other symbol, during their "pride" week, month, or whatever.

This is just silly. What is the point? LGBTQs should be disgusted by this constant need by straights to virtue signal that they have their approval. Why the needy compulsion? It has become cartoonish.

The rainbow flag is a symbol of their pride. Lots of groups have flags.

Since the embassies are allowed to request flying other flags, it's likely some requests are approved. But they're probably for extraordinary circumstances. Not an annual event.

America's enemies are just waiting. Weak minds equal weak bodies in times of trouble. Don't believe me, walk the streets of any major city worldwide and you'll realize them people living on the streets can not and will not help its nation in times of an invasion.

A flag with a man stick'n his little wee wee up another man's butt I think would be more appropriate type of flag. That is their nation, a nation of weird sex behavior. That type of flag would go well with 90% of the people, they want pride flag, lets give it them like they give it to the 90% who need a flag for normal sexual relation between man and woman.

Fire those in the embassies .

I agree. Being Gay is just like being Catholic, or a Mason, or a Veteran. Every one of us has something we're proud of.

And when they think they've waited long enough and finally decide to move, they will find out that they've been trolled hard by social media and the MSM.

You're right, the cities are full of weak people that could be easily swayed or overpowered by a foreign invader. The "surprise juicy fruit filling" of that invasion candy they just bit into is the other 90 percent of the US land mass. Good ol gun toting freedom loving americans.

Frankly, they can have those worthless concrete jungles. Once they take them, they will be surrounded by hundreds of miles of a kill zone that they couldn't venture out into.

As long as it's a smaller flag and flown below the US flag in accordance with the policy, then who cares?

That would be true if embassies defied U.S. orders, and the embassy-head went unpunished.

Several things are occurring right now within the U.S. Dept of Justice that will determine if the country is capable of self-healing.

In reality, there are probably more "us citizens" that support ISIS than are members of the LGBTQ community, percentage wise.

So that's a fair request, fly the ISIS flag.

That's why I asked the question. I take it that you think it's a bad idea to fly "special interest" flags. You're in the majority.
