BTW...It's disappointing that the DOJ (Barr) is telling Mueller that he can't go beyond what his report says, when he testifies on Wednesday. The vast majority of Republican questions for Mueller have nothing to do with his report.

I think that’s because Barr/Durham are handling SpyGate/Russia Hoax. They don’t want anyone asking questions, setting narratives, or painting any picture until the DOJ paints it. GOP committee members hearts in right place and it forces Dems not to stray as well. Mueller’s opinions of anything outside those in his report do not matter.

Hopefully, asking Bob Mueller about the composition of his Special Counsel team, the team that Andrew Weismann put together, is within the "4 corners" of his investigation. Most of the other Republican questions will now be off-limits.

Joe DiGenova confused everyone when he referenced a "Comey Report" coming from the Inspector General. He was just using that generic made-up name to describe the upcoming IG Report on FISA abuse.

It's the IG Report on FISA Abuse that is rumored to finger former FBI Director James Comey.

As you see in the article, the report's completion is now (reportedly) delayed until September 2019. The first delay was from May to June. Sigh...

This is brought up often but I never see MSM or DOJ or anyone in office addressing it. This makes me think;

- POTUS/Staff know any fact checker will see the conflict of that scenario

- Is there a provision where a waiver is possible if approved by A/B/C?

- the Trump vs Mueller is a smoke screen and that meeting formalized the “plan”

To his credit, Mueller didn’t volunteer to testify. To his credit, he’s not being interviewed daily. To his credit, book deal not inked yet. To his credit, he said up front his report stands and he cannot add anything to it.

President Trump has been consistent in stating that Bob Mueller met with him to become FBI Director... to take James Comey's place. But was turned down....so Mueller eagerly accepted the Special Counsel role, and set out to repay President Trump for not nominating him for FBI Director.

As you point out, the President's public story is likely intentional misdirection.

1. As you stated..By law, Mueller couldn't be FBI Director again.
2. President Trump doesn't normally tell someone they're not right for the job, within hours of the interview.
3. Since Rosenstein appointed Mueller as Special Counsel the next day, it had to be in the works before the Mueller/Rosenstein/Trump "FBI Director Job Interview" meeting in the Oval Office.
4. Bob Mueller left his (a) cell phone in the Oval Office when leaving the "job interview". Sent someone to pick it up later that day. Accident left behind.. or Intentionally left for SPYING purposes?

Since Mueller and Rosenstein were in the Oval office together with President Trump, the day before Rosenstein appointed Mueller as Special Counsel, everything points to a PLAN being hatched/formalized/implemented between (at least) the 3 of them. I'm sure Jeff Sessions was in on it too. He played his role perfectly, as well.

Also, if my memory serves me correct, didnt they meet for like 3 to 5 hours? They would have determined that Mueller was not eligible for the FBI director position within the first 10 minutes.....what did Mueller, Rosenstein and POTUS talk about for hours after that?
