Fair enough but when she is one person vocally speaking on the behalf of the party , why then did no one point out in her party that it isnt their policy , they were happy for her to express her own opinion , even though she is spokes person of that party!

aye she maybe an advocate for freedom of speech and expression, very good
but when that freedom gives people the right to watch people suffering , its #ing wrong !

Freedom should not come with those costs , yes be free to watch things online , but when the things you watch are knee deep in pain and suffering , how is that helping anyone ?

Your free to watch a child put in a mental prison for the rest of their lives !

The rich and powerful are consolidating wealth all the time, it's what they do, in or out of the EU. If Brexit goes through then those of us who voted for Scottish independence might have another crack at it. It might just be achieved this time as the Scottish EU supporters will tag along with Sturgeon and her promise to remain in the EU. After independence we would have an election and perhaps our own referendum on becoming part of the EU.

I have no desire to be part of the EU, or the UK, I believe politics should be as close to home as possible where our politicians are more accessible and accountable. I would also ditch the monarchy and develop our own currency.

of course it is the media and we all know how they love to stir the pot !

I am all for freedom of expression and freedom of speech and freedom online etc

but I dont want those freedoms so I can satisfy a deep desire to watch child abuse or torture
anyone who does want that is mentally ill !

and those people need help , it will only promote suffering and the ultimate outcome is the degradation of morals and society !

The Brexit Party is about one thing; Brexit.

It brings together people from across the social and political divide and there is no party manifesto other than trying to deliver Brexit.

Its pretty simple really.

For the record; for all I oppose censorship of any kind I can't support anything relating to the production and viewing of child porn and anyone found guilty of doing so should be removed permanently from society.

Claire Fox's stance on child porn and jihadi videos is simple, stop them being made, don't waste resources on censoring the internet.

but her stance on censorship provides a platform for it , and then an increased demand !

what this then creates its a world where its deemed as normal behaviour when its completely immoral .

By allowing this lack of censorship you will get an increased demand because we are humans with egos
and very questionable morals

when it becomes normalised , you will have thousands if not millions of abused children because the demand for fresh content for the ones who love it !

abused children means that they are less likely to procreate as they suffer PTSD from sexual abuse
therefore they wont procreate as they have issues with any form of intimacy or sexual intimacy .

They wont pass on their genes, and so at a high level it affects the whole procreation of the species !
child abuse is antithetical to life !

this is where my problem arises, I dont think its right to kill anyone , even if they themselves have murdered or raped or abused
I believe these people can be fixed but it requires re-mapping their neural networks and currently we dont have the medical tech to do this !

But it will come with more psychedelic research

My preferred option is a sparse cell, for life.
Straw mattress, bread and water diet, bucket....and that's it apart from the odd session on the chain gang.

Im not a telegraph reader or any mass media for that matter, so cant comment on their credibility !

I think its what others have said , she isn't advocating for child porn and jihadi videos specifically just not as much government censorship or no censorship at all as she is a staunch libertarian

My opinion is that people can be fixed, if we are human breakable then we are human fixable!

just like anything we put our hands on ! if someone has broken you then someone can fix you!

but requires patience ,compassion and understanding.

If we stick all of our damaged people in jails or cells , we will have no room left !
we will end up with more jails than houses!

Although I do think that as a short term gesture those who have abused or murdered should be out cleaning up
land mines or depleted uranium

Sorry for the thread drift but I fear we are forgetting something basic; the principle purpose of our penal system should be punishment and not rehabilitation.
And for me anyone guilty of sex crimes and/or paedophilia doesn't deserve the chance for rehabilitation.

Its time we put the consideration of the victims before those of the guilty.

These people are not just damaged sapien82, and they are only apt to damage others, those others being children.

Everyone is a product of society, but some people simply cannot be fixed.

Second chances where pedophiles are concerned amounts to a wait and see mentality, which seldom works out well.

Somethings simply cannot be forgiven i suppose.

I think this is how we perpetuate the circle of abuse though ,
most people who abuse are or where victims of abuse when they were young

so if we only seek to punish then we really never address the issue of why this happens

I think by studying the rehabilitation of these people , through psychology and physiological examination of their brains
and the use of psychedelics we can remap their neural networks and prevent them from causing further damage
but at the same time understand how this can happen in humans

it could lead to some new treatments for those who have suffered abuse !

and if its the case where we do punish them but not rehabilitate them , how about we ask them if they would be willing to take part in these studies on their brains and find out the cause , especially if they are lifers or on death row !

These people cant be fixed "YET" because we lack the medical understanding and the medical technology to fix them!
or are we simply just unwilling to research this because of its taboo subject nature ?
We shy away from us as its a collective shame on our species
