The Government should not ban people from watching child porn and Jihadi videos online, one of the new candidates for Nigel Farage’s Brexit party has said.

Claire Fox, a longstanding advocate of free speech, was one of 13 Brexit Party candidates who have been unveiled by Mr Farage's party to fight the European Parliament elections on May 23.

So if Brexit party get their seats they will push for the freedom for anyone to watch videos which ultimately will cause further suffering
its propagating criminal behaviour and the degradation of society by putting images of barbarism and inhumane abuse of children into the hands of people in a legal setting , this would ultimately create more suffering !

I could not read the full article without registering, but in the part of the article I was able to read., I did not see any quotes, only what the article said what she said.

Her point was that she doesn't want the state to have the ability to censor the internet because she knows damn well the state will use such powers to stifle freedom of expression.

its causing untold damage to future generations , there is freedom of expressin and freedom of speech but not when it causes actual real world harm to children!

I am all for freedom of speech and freedom of expression but not when its based on the suffering of others !

THose children in those videos online have suffered and continue to suffer at the hands of their abusers, and everytime someone watches those types of images or videos it continues and propagates the suffering , causing more and more damage !

She is advocating that we dont clamp down on it because its about freedom of choice

This is one person.
Absolutely nowhere does it state that its Brexit Party policy.

Of course one person isn't representative of the whole when we talk about Muslim extremists etc but when its a Brexit supporter that clearly isn't the case.

Claire Fox is one of the core members of The Revolutionary Communist Party who developed libertarian views and have long opposed any censorship of the internet.

With stories like this appearing, it shows the establishment are already running scared and are going into full blown smear mode already.

With the level of anger over the handling of the entire Brexit process and the underhandedness of both main parties to delay, water down or wreck it entirely, there are a lot of very disillusioned people out there. That's a potential 17.2 Million voters, who voted to leave, abandoning the Tories and Labour to vote for a party that supports the democratic will of the people.

aye very good but I'm not a remainer , I hate brexit damn straight because its a theft of public wealth and most likely our rights but lets all be cool with the brexit party because they want to give you freedom to watch torture and abuse !

The rich and powerful are consolidating wealth all the time, it's what they do, in or out of the EU. If Brexit goes through then those of us who voted for Scottish independence might have another crack at it. It might just be achieved this time as the Scottish EU supporters will tag along with Sturgeon and her promise to remain in the EU. After independence we would have an election and perhaps our own referendum on becoming part of the EU.

I have no desire to be part of the EU, or the UK, I believe politics should be as close to home as possible where our politicians are more accessible and accountable. I would also ditch the monarchy and develop our own currency.
