More views of the Lassell Massif, the first one constructed from the files you can download from here:

wms.lroc.asu.edu...

The NAC images used are of considerably greater detail than the WAC images.

Speaking of WAC images, here's one that covers the Lassell Massif in Mare Nubium.

wms.lroc.asu.edu...

And here'show you go about processing those sort of images

www.lpi.usra.edu...

Apparently though these WAC images are OK, despite the very obviously high amount of processing involved in computer generating the images because they don't involve anything of which the OP disapproves and he can pretend he can see things in them.

He also likes Clementine images. Here's Clementine's view of the area - apparently this is also much better than the other images, which aren't good enough thanks to their stupidly high dpi, ground resolution and overall much better quality.

Here's Chang'e-2's 3D view of the scene:

And here is the same area photographed in my 1972 lunar atlas as seen by Lunar Orbiter:

No artificial structures, just craters, hills and rocks. Amazing photographs, no need for delusional hyperbole to make them any more interesting.

Just gonna chime in here, absolutely mad deja vu with this thread. I have read every page, and I 100% remember this thread, about a year, may be 2 years ago.

May be I have finally lost it, but I don't think so. I commented on the "previous" thread due to the fungi type glass structures.....as it interested me.

Any way freaked out now so cheers Lunarova, it bothered me all last night, mental schzzle

Cheers TheTaff

I'm beginning to think you are having a little fun with us. You've been reading a lot of John Lear's stuff me thinks.

No mate I am serious. This is not a windup.

I like John Lear but disagree with some of his theories.

I can see why he believes no man set foot on the moon?
I think the 250Million beings live inside it could be true. And I like the way he laughs at the cover story etc. Probably a cool dude to have a few beers with

You must know.

I know what definitions I use, but I don't know if you use the same definitions or not. In a discussion about technical topics, one thing we should be sure is that everyone is using the same definitions.

I don't trust the images but they are evidence of either image tampering or something else?

In this case I think it's evidence of light and shadow. A shadow projected on a non-flat surface may take many different shapes, resulting from the shape and relative position of the surface where the shadow is projected.

So you can't see any titanium structures or gargantuan space stations either?

That's a relief. I'll cancel that appointment at Specsavers.

Wonder if there's an alternative optician service for [SNIPPED] that adds vision defects instead of correcting them?

"Can you see the spaceship now? How about now? And is the alien space hangar clearer with this one, or this one....?"
