But still no 5.6 like expected. More coming?

around the 30's latitude. Things that make you go hmmm...

However, I have to say that there have been a few small earthquakes along Southeast Alaska lately and I have been watching myself. It is a worry.

To the North the plates are grinding, to the South the plates are grinding....
but the Cascadia range seems oh so quiet....

4.2 M, 35 K depth, just south of Big Lake, Alaska

Felt it roll through here in Anchorage. Just a long, gentle roll. Happened right around 10 AM. You can tell by the lights starting to swing (we have hanging lights in long rows, ~50 ft. in length, made up florescent tubes. The whole entire fixture was swaying).

There have been 4 to 5 earthqaukes in Greece (around Crete) in the last month that are roughly mag 4.5 - 5. The last one was even felt on Santorini (which would have terrified me if i had been there as i would have been convinced it was Thera mk.2!).

This has me wondering if these could be a precursor to a much bigger event?

Way to many Yellowstone area.
