**Jose Escamilla** (Yes... the Rods Guy)

I know a Cryptozoologist from the UK that has been friends with Jose Escamilla since his (supposed) days as a keyboard player with the band "The Charlatans" (1969, although I find nothing to verify that). I've searched pretty much all of my bookmarks of people that should know (one way or another) if he has indeed passed away.

Regardless of whether one believed or not in the (supposed) "SkyFish" phenomena or not, some of his other work was not as 'controversial' and he wasn't that bad as a Film/Video producer.

So basically, I'm just trying to find some form of validation of the claim.

All I can find on this is using Twitter, a few people on there say he has passed on because of heart problems.
Sorry to hear this.

Poor Joe... sad to know. Icon of 90's crypto-paranormal TV and king of video artifacts.

Won't speak ill, either... and partly for what is termed "superstitious reasons" that I contend are based upon real-life (and death) experiences. Also, the guy likely didn't intentionally fool anyone.

RIP ... or keep on fishin' for skyfish in the possible post life experience.
