Elizabeth Warren releases DNA results to prove she is partially Native American

This article is one of the most rich pieces I've read in some time. The best part is, I think HuffPo wrote this seriously.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) made public the results of a DNA test on Monday, which an expert said shows “strong evidence’’ that she has a Native American ancestor.

“The vast majority” of Warren’s ancestry is European but “the results strongly support the existence of an unadmixed Native American ancestor” six to 10 generations ago, according to Carlos D. Bustamante, a Stanford University professor who analyzed the results.

This means she could be 1/32nd Native American, or just 1/512th Native American if the ancestor is 10 generations back.

Clearly enough for her to get a house on a reservation and get some of that sweet sweet casino money.

She possesses 12 times more Native American blood than a white person from Great Britain, the report found, and 10 times more than a white person from Utah.

I say good on her for doing this after she was called a liar when she first said it. The percentage isn't that high but at least it backs her original claim.

If you tested a South African , they just may test with that percentage....
Or someone from China .
Or someone from Iraq.

she has never shown any geaneology evidence

i suspect that this DNA test was taken for a completely different reason - and the " surprise " - POSSIBLE native ancestor = being milked for all its worth

Most of my good friends I grew up with played for Team Brown. We just got together a few weeks ago for my one friend's BF's birthday, he's about as white as you can get being Irish. So when White Guy Steve was asking me why I was goofing on him since I'm 'white' too I said I'm Mediterranean and down with Team Brown. My colored brothers from other mothers agreed with me and then we beat his honky ass for being a racist.
