The whole world except America uses metric so I'll run with the majority vote mate.

Ya well the whole world except America still doesn’t have running water.

Running water with pharmaceuticals and other crap.

The whole world also has varied degrees of socialism and despotic rule, except America. Coincidence, I think not. Also why would a UKer cheerlead a French concoction? Brexit passed, do a clean break.

Lol, Brexit is nothing to do with silly old fashioned measuring scales which only one major nation in the world uses.
Pounds and ounces lmao.
'trick or treat' another US contrived bull# thing.

I wonder sometimes who comes up with these ideas ? If you are 13 and caught trick or treating you can face 6 months in jail and a fine.. Which means I suppose the kid gets grabbed and the family pays the fine.
Does Virginia have a big gang or crime problem by 13 years olds ?
What a weird world we live in IMO..

youtu.be...

Yeah...in our city, we stopped giving candy out completely when we'd get a deep voiced "Trick or treat!" at 9:30-10:00...peek out and see 3 18 yr olds or something...standing at the door.

That's when I figured I shouldn't have to have candy in one hand...and my Glock 45 in the other...

Funny this thread descended into discussion on the metric system lol.

Ok, I'll weigh in and come off as a contrarian.

I'm an American custom knife maker and use metric system for dimensions. It's just plain easier from design through machining. Still use alot of standard cutting tools though because they are more common here.

Drills, for example... fractional, letter and number sizes. That is freaking ridiculous! I go metric in holes, threading, pins, shafts - so much easier!

It honestly makes design easier.
