They are not really taking applications the last time i checked.

Notice the rate difference? Hey, bunch of 1st, 2nd and 3rd world countries there. I guess they made knives, cars, bats, rocks etc. illegal over there.

Do I see a bunch of Sh*thole counties in that list?

Maybe we ask them how they do it, huh?

Shooter being a woman points most likely to a crime of passion and victims being known to the shooter.

Very rare to have a random mass shooter be a woman.

Just another day in 'Murica.

Yup, which is why most of us can't wait to leave. So we can get outside of the USA and live in places where people don't die everyday, like they do in "Murica. As you have pointed out.

People die every day every where. Death by violence is common in many places. Amurica is no real exception. It's not even the worst. And the bulk of death by gunfire deaths you have to worry about mainly if you are a youngerish black male. And if you are not that person then you are far more likely to die in a car wreck. If you want to worry about being killed in a violent manner that is. Just saying hos.

Why does murica get all the fun stats anyway?

Actually its funny to me - I am willing to bet every person that hates murica violence and murica probably absolutely love movies that portray gun violence as "cool", as a way to "solve problems". Probably play alot of video games with gun violence as well. People are very confused about so many things these days - especially MURICA!

Gun deaths in the first chart, murder in the second.

Here is the Murder rate overall. US Still grouped into a bunch of SH*Thole countries. But all the 1st world countries are still below, and most of them have really tough gun laws. How come they don't murder with the knives, bats, cars, rocks?

Like I said, maybe the US should ask why?

Do we only care about skewed statistics like "gun deaths" or are you going to reference murder?

Did you know the US isn't homogenous? The murder rate in the US is heavily skewed by large metropolitan areas like Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, Oakland, LA, and others.

Comparing the US to other nations where the socio-economic structure, education, and demographics are different doesn't actually tell us anything about gun policy in the US.

First off, the USA leads the world in its data reporting of crime statistics. Several European countries are noted for, say, not including crimes of non-citizen in the murder rate (Deutschland) and not counting it as a violent crime if the police weren't there to stop it....

Second is racial diversity. the countries with lower firearms deaths, are either a) whiter than the USA, or b) monolithic ethnically, like Japan and Brunei. UK and Netherlands are like, 91% white. USA is 67% white. All the countries that are touted as "Better" than the USA are also less diverse.

embracing diversity also means embracing other cultures' idea of crime and punishment.
