Good morning ATS! Happy Friday!

I'm looking for advice on free photo editing software, for some projects I have going on. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Good Morning! Gimp is free and should do everything you need. You'll find a lot of helpful tutorials on YouTube, too, which is hard to beat.

I've been using GIMP for quite some time now. It has most, if not all of the features from Photoshop and should suit your purposes well.

Be advised that it isn't intuitive nor even particularly user friendly, so you'll definitely need some ramp-up time to master all that it can do. It is a well-rounded application that's constantly being improved.

Good luck. Let us know how it works for you.

Gimp is fine but I prefer Paint.Net. It has so many user created plugins that I suggest you investigate.
paint.net
I have them both installed and use them both.

I recommend paint.net over gimp also , whilst gimp is good, paint.net is far simpler and with a few plugins will do most things the average user would want.

Aside from Gimp and Paint.net, Photo Pos Pro is another great photo editor.
