The web was going to be controlled regardless.
Be it by ideological corporate or ideological government.

Break this monopoly up. It is a matter of national security, all tech giants must release their monopoly on information at once (and immediately stop abusing said monopoly to suppress political speech they disagree with)
Disgusting, fascist, worthless, useless, authoritarian, radical, alt, unwanted far-left.

Because I believe that internet access should be a public utility, but that is a discussion for a different thread.
While I agree with you , its irrelevant on the topic of censorship.
So if Internet access were to become a public utility you would be ok with giving private companies the right to block sites they choose? I would assume not.
We shouldn't be encouraging or supporting any type of censorship by gov't or private companies.
How is anyone getting blocked here? You still have access to Alex Jones' content. Just go to his website.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Thats not what I asked. The question is why do you feel ok with the private companies censoring content but not ok with private companies censoring websites?

Ok. Let's make this clearer since you recited that poem. That poem is about the Nazis pulling people off of the street and sending them to camps and you just compared Apple kicking Alex Jones off of their services to sending people to concentration camps. AGAIN this is Godwin's Law and you are literally out of hand here. No it isn't fascism. That is the dumbest thing I've heard in this thread. Way to take the taco.
