So, to pre-emptively head off the inevitable questions, I won't directly comment on anything else seen/photographed at either Plant 42 or Edwards. Sorry.

I would never expect you to betray your oath to the United States of America.

But at least by you making that Statement pre emptively, we know there was a "something else" that cannot be talked about. 😉 Just in case some didn't get that, he's trying to tell us the aliens are here and rescue missions will be carried out shortly to free our planet, but he can't just come right out and Say it, he's like Q, he has to find sneaky ways to drop Intel. He can't break his NDA.

Message Received loud & clear buddy! 👍🏼 I'll spread the word. Giving you full credit of course! Don't worry, I'm not one of those deadbeats, I'll see to it that you get every bit of credit for this, guaranteed. 😉😎

LOL

But seriously, you must have some sweet cameras, bros.

We didn't at the time. I wish we had. We decided to go to Edwards that night, and I think they went out of Palmdale.

As for invites, it was bad enough with one new guy there.

I know right

We were all using Nikon. Sam and I have the D3xxx series, and Fred went expensive with one of the D7xxx series. A nice 300 lens covers a lot of where we were. A 500 would be good for Edwards, but you can see with the B-52 shots that a smaller lens worked well there too. You get some that cut around behind where we were, so the longer lens is better for those.

That's pretty much the reason you're tolerable. We tend to think of our gear and everything else is an afterthought.

It varies, and depends on job/finances. Last year we just met up and went to Moses Lake and the Fairchild Airshow. We try to, but can't always.

In the next day or so I'll be on a better connection and can add my shots. Most are pretty close to theirs, but I've got an F-15SA that landed while carrying ordnance, the 70th Anniversary of the X-1 flight F-16, and a few other interesting ones to add.

Two of us were using 300mm lenses. SOMEBODY had to get all fancy and bring a 100 pound lens and try to make us feel inadequate.
