I don't feel bad for these people. They bring it on themselves. I heard this on the news today, 100% I believe the people were driven out!

So much corruption and greed, all around trump. The company you keep, tells an awful lot about a person.

If the owner is making significant improvements, of course the costs will increase.

If someone is renting, that is a known risk. Renting does not give you a permanent right to live in a place at the same cost beyond your lease.

There is literally a law preventing this and this lawsuit does not have to prove that this is not ok, we already know it's not ok, they need to prove Kushners knowingly engaged in it, meaning they were kicking people out by manipulating conditions in order to convert and sell the new condos. If they did, they broke the law and will begin by paying people back for $10m; medical bills for years would not be strange either.

There is no known risk here, if they did this on purpose they broke the law and will lose this lawsuit.

Edit: I had to read your reply again. Are you under the impression that these people remained renters and Kushners were improving their apartments and just raising the rent? Or do you realize they are accused of illegally creating unlivable conditions in order to kick them out?

That kind of real estate opportunity is rare as a unicorn.

Urban sprawl and sub lotting has destroyed my area in the last two decades.

If I had the moolah.

I'd be on it quicker than Michael Moore at a all you can eat free buffet.

In a building where some of the building is undergoing construction, there is going to be noise and dust and inconveniences.

Alright toys, you're not going to answer me how you know there are no video recordings, and you'll tell me again how 'my' Associated Press article reads like Stephen King.

See you in the 11th thread where you'll tell me news don't matter. Take care.

www.osha.gov...

Crystalline silica has been classified as a human lung carcinogen. Additionally, breathing crystalline silica dust can cause silicosis, which in severe cases can be disabling, or even fatal. The respirable silica dust enters the lungs and causes the formation of scar tissue, thus reducing the lungs’ ability to take in oxygen

Understood. That is not what this lawsuit is about, it's about intentionally creating unlivable conditions and predatory lending practices, both covered by law.

If they win the case, it will be a serious stain on this family, and by proxy on the larger family in the WH.

I never claimed there was or was no video. You did.

Please back up your claim.

Is that too much to ask for, for posters to be able to back up what they say so they don't derail with disinfo?

actually Jared was there, and he's doing the construction as well, himself and he's not doing a very good job of it either because he sucks at everything like Trump

I doubt that scrawny pencil neck can even lift a hammer

I hope the court awards them 10x's what they are asking.

You can't prove a negetive its not a valid point of view .

With over 330 people there and the mafnitude of their complaints there's either some video/ audio or this didnt happen

Stop pretending

Toys, you came into this thread and made this claim:

There are 338 homes contained within this building of an obviously affluent part of NY. Not a single recording. NOT. A. SINGLE. RECORDING.

Did you not?
