Yup, Dallas Green has a pretty unforgettable voice.
He’s the lead singer of another band called: City and Colour.

OMGosh! Who could forget Mr. Young - who really needs no introduction? Here's a song of his that I play on my guitar:

For that, you get two

The band chose "Kittie" as their band name because the name "seemed contradictory"

~ Kittie

I think I am in love with the bassist...she can literally play her bass on her heels...like put her bass on her heels and kick ass!

These Canadian chicks can ROCK!

1999 saw the release of their second album Destruction of the Universe which was followed the next year by their final release This Time its Personal. Unfortunately Scratching Post are no more. Nicole went on to form the band Minx who have as yet not made any releases.

~ Scratching Post

Wicked awesome!

Hmmm....I wonder what happened to Nicole? I can't find her anywhere on the internet after she left the band....

Speaking of a bit more obscure, there is Kick Axe. These guys are still around and were in town last year (didn't get to see the show though)

Cannot even think of Canada, without thinking of Strapping Young Lad...

And of course, the man with the plan in that band, and all round sonic maestro, Mr Devin Townsend...

I saw Triumph twice in the 80's. Almost got to see them when they first started out in the 70's but I was too young to venture south on Vancouver Island at the time. Old enough to go but not old enough to have my own dough. My parents said "no".

How about some I Mother Earth?
