For the wife this Valentine's Day

My world had stopped
When I saw your eyes on me

Fantastic song by the Maasai people (with a rather ambient dust-storm).

Remembering those African and tribal people who clung to their culture.

Wow, great tunes everybody!

Especially the last two.
I've never felt so uplifitingly depressed!
Or depressingly uplifted?

Anyway, time for the vinyl again - here's some Albert Hammond:

That was a good track

Here, have more of this depressingly uplifting mad gash lol

I play this crap on the headphones, I am not allowed to stop it playing until I finished the housework. Takes me 5 minutes to do the entire house!

Recently I did one of those click-bait tests, and the theme was what would your job have been in medieval times?

Here I am thinking I'm a gallant knight.

But it actually told me I'm a court jester!
I mean me, of all people.

But the more I thought about it, the more I wished it was a job description nowadays: free food and booze, and nookie behind the tapestries.

All you need to do is speak the truth to power in rhyme.
Just be a bit subtle, don't go too far, for example: "This emperor is corrupt is he not? At least the last one also had a big clock."

Off with the Fool's head!

Well, here's Lord Huron - Fool for Love.
