When they dropped that bad boy it collapsed an entire cave system and killed more than they intended to. I don’t think it is cool to say that killing is a success but that operation was a success.

The incredibly large drawback is that if there are active defenses you're not dropping it. The only aircraft that can carry it is the C-130. They would use the MC-130 to drop it, which has really good infiltration capabilities, but not that good.

I would say you could drop it if escorts were with it but this isn’t WW2 anymore and two F22’s could do the same amount of damage in modern combat situations.

Layered sam sites, they may not be the best in the world but they would have to be suppressed before you could dream of a heavy getting overhead.

There may be something planned, but whatever it is isn't particularly large. There are planned rotations going on right now that wouldn't be if they were planning something big.

Syria only has 5 airfields that if they take them out and their logistical infrastructures it would basically ground Syria's fleet.

They would most likely need to go B2 if they wanted to do more than just the logistics.

And if they were planning something that big they wouldn't have just removed 16 F-15Es (2 broke) and 4 B-52s in the last 24 hours.

The B-2 can't carry MOAB, only the C-130 can. The B-2 can carry MOP, which is a massive bunker buster, but that's not a good weapon in this situation.

People need to realizes that Trump comes off the top rope on everything to build leverage and then he negotiates, its like his signature move...lol

I think in this case we are not going to do anything outside of posturing if they allow us to inspect. In the end we need to get out of there since outside of total war we can not stop Russia's desire to have access to the sea there.

Isn't the POTUS the CinC and therefore shouldn't he be at the round table as the mission develops/unfolds? This is why there is going to be some serious action and long overdue! Ya, I use to carry them when I flew C-130s...I was thinking just typical 2000 pounders, a lot of them.

You'd do as much or more damage with a couple F-16s, or F-18s as you would with a MOAB for much less risk.

And you should see the OPSEC violations on Facebook. I watched posts this morning that included callsigns, tail numbers, and for the six tankers on a round robin, where they were meeting their receivers. For the other tankers, it included the callsign of the fighters they were dragging, and their Eta into the UK.
