Well first they stroke his ego a little, perhaps dangle a porn star in front of him and boom! He a lean mean signing machine.

We must be reaching the catalyst, surely his supporters can see this for what it is, surely.

I'm supporting Rand Paul in 2020.

Should have supported him in the 2016 election. Lesson learned.

I'd never vote for Hillary if that's what you're trying to get people to admit. The election went down the way it did because Democrats, at the time, were the bigger scumbags. (That hasn't changed BTW).

Also, anyone who is married to a candidate or politicians in such a fashion is a member of a personality cult and not much more.

I revoked my support for Obama when I was sick of Bush because of his corrupt ties.

Why is it so weird for people to change their minds about things?

Whoever started this thread, worded it based on a LIE. Fooled a lot of suckers though, LOL.

It was passed as an amendment to the omnibus spending bill.

i am sorry but is somebody in a blue un hat or id that says interpol tries to arrest me here in nc i will resist with every fiber of my being period.

Like I said, I feel bad for foreign cops if this bill can be construed to have foreign LE on US soil.

It would be a target rich environment and I think government people know that.

Hillary would be no better, I'm not trying to get people to admit to anything, I'm just hoping some of his supporters start asking questions instead of blindly following and it seems that is happening.

Personally I suspect I would have opted out from voting as there wasn't a candidate worth voting for, of course that doesn't help the situation, well of course unless the rest of the country chose not to vote as an act of civil disobedience.

It's not weird for people to change their minds, some of his supporters though just follow and that's troublesome for me, you don't fall into that category .

Ha, you were all screwed when you thought that all these people you elect actually read a 2,232 bill. I mean did you really think they would read all that #? They have others to do that for them, and then give them back talking points, while there busy playing golf.

In fact if anybody hands you a 2,232 bill and says to you all these things will become law, well dang you screwed up right there. You should hand it back and say revise it down into 4 to 5 pages or your fired, in fact a few sentences would be preferable, but likely overdone.

Well, well, well.

What a shock. I can barely contain my total surprise at the fact that the American people are now being screwed by their Golden Idiot...
In other news, the sky is up, the ground is down, and water at room temperature tends to be wet.

No one should be surprised by this. You can be angry, you can be sad, but surprised? No. There is no excuse for that at all. It is not as if Trumps administration have ever given the people of the United States, the slightest reason to trust their motivations, their actions, or the moral and ethical solidarity of the people involved with running the country at the moment, in fact, rather the opposite.

This is not a sudden and shocking betrayal, merely an entirely predictable behaviour, absolutely in keeping with the character of the people running the show, the people who were elected to do so, despite the protestations of more than half the human beings over whom they preside at the moment, and despite the warnings that the rest of the world provided about Trump and the sort of utterly reprehensible nonsense we were all sure he would get up to in office.

Being surprised by this turn of events, is like being shocked at the sensation of impact with a brick wall, that you have just spent ten seconds sprinting directly toward.

What kind of anti-American garbage is this?

Americans willingly provide their information, they signed up for it.

They also pay taxes, build bombs in factories, and sign up to wage war in foreign lands.

Deflection comes on Sunday in church, where they 'pray' for forgiveness.

Did anyone actually read this?

This is nothing that is not already done with data storage services within the US. The only thing this addendum does is give law enforcement some recourse to attempt to access data that is stored on servers outside of the US. There are criminals working within the US that get away with what they do because they store data outside of the US.

There is still due process specified.

I still didn't vote for Trump, voted third party. I don't own this #. I tried to have hope for Trump, grateful he was at least not Hillary. Who I still think would have been worse. Either way screwed as I suspected.

It appears that Trump will sign anything, It seems like he is clicking the 'I agree' button to a user license agreement without reading it first.

Sure we as consumers can get away with it but this is the POTUS, you can't just put your John Hancock on every piece of paper like it's comic-con.

maybe you could refrain from putting all the blame on POTUS when the very website for the OP states that the bill was handed to lawmakers late in the evening and told to vote the next day. This is reminiscent of The Patriot Act which was written even prior to the arrival of Bush Jr. In the Oval Office. These guys sneak in this crazy Globalist agenda into law. Lindsay Graham co sponsored the Cloud Act and I sure feel like giving him a piece of my mind. He shows himself a typical Globalist with this.

I'm with you on this. This was was a surprise attack which Globalists love. It would have been nice if Trump had taken more time but these Globalists knew he wanted spending for the military and for the Wall.

Did we all read the CLOUD Act? It is an extension/update of the another Act passed in the mid 80's. It does the exact opposite of what you have described and it requires a warrant or subpoena.

It was included in the Omnibus but was it actually passed?
