You do know that Hitler won because he succeeded to take over the original police and the gov, right?

Basically the state couldn't defend against his revolutions, and he eventually rose to power.

Hitler won?

Well, I learned a great deal from this thread.

It's not fascist to use totalitarianism of the state to stripe your not inalienable rights away.

WOW.

JUST WOWZERS!

Next up Abortion.

No. Not all guns are semiautomatic.

I never said that they were. Only that they constitute nearly all guns present in the United States, today. They are any firearm that fires a bullet anytime the trigger is pulled.

Are you in favor of banning semi-automatic guns?

Yes, he became the government of Germany back in the 40s.

At first he lost as he rebelled against the state. But then he won in his subsequent attempt, and became the new power of Germany.

History called it the Nazi.

It was kind of a big deal back then.

They think we give each other our rights.

We do, actually.

A squirrel most certainly didn't give it to you.

It's an agreement made between human being with human beings.

So if people give other people rights, then any other person can take them away. That would completely destroy the meaning of what a "right" is.

Now we have a Potus that all you guys have been calling HITLER and making comparison after comparison to HITLER actually saying he wants to take the guns before due process .... AND YOU GUYS WANT TO LET HIM. PLEASE LET THAT SINK IN...

Who are "you guys"? I don't think Trump is even on the same level as Hitler when it comes to being a terrible person, they're not even comparable. Trump is much worse than Hitler.

I'm kidding, Hitler is a lot worse than Trump by miles in all honesty and I've never compared the two, I'm also pro 2nd amendment so I'm not sure who you're calling out here, certainly not me.

I just wanted you to address the point of the post. One sentence in a post does not constitute the entire thing.

Just sit back, learn the word "inalienable" and move on. I really wish you would've posted this in the mud-pit lol

History might show you that what humans call "rights" are only that - rights set by humans for humans.

Bad manners.

So says the man who've just posted a pic of Hitler to compare the result of an opinion poll with the leader of the Nazis.

or maybe, just maybe the real point. Which again, must have eluded you. The definition you are using is incorrect. If it is "bad manners" to try to help someone understand the words he's using then I'm guilty as charged.

Sorry, you're mistaken. If he used the definitions or even the sole word "right", then you would be correct.

The problem lies with the fact that he believes it to be "inalienable". That definition is lost on him and I took a stab at providing the definitions. Guess that doesn't help anymore.

Welcome to right wing America. Where the "rights" are made up and the definitions don't matter.

What was your definition of a "right"? I didn't see that anywhere in your post. In any case, a right, by definition is not something that can be simply be taken away on a whim, but only through use of force. The Second Amendment came about as recognition of people's right to defend their rights from such use of force. The U.S. Constitution merely recognizes this premise--that people have rights that exist outside government purview.
