I've heard about the abuses. Im not new to politics but am Canadian so haven't followed much detail about FISA abuses closely. It just seems that this offering to the public is designed with specific purpose in that it was ordered to be declassified directly by POTUS.

Justice has it's procedures, this is part of it slow as it is.

Several Senators have called for a special counsel.

Charles Grassley, and Lindsay Graham.

South Carolina senator Lindsey Graham is renewing his call for a second special counsel in the wake of the release of a GOP-drafted memo that alleges politically-motivated surveillance abuses. “I like the FBI, I like the Department of Justice. But we need a special counsel to look at potential abuses of power,” Graham said during an appearance on a local NBC broadcast in Augusta, Georgia. “Somebody needs to watch the watchers.”

Point I made in the other thread:

Rod Rosentein called for James Comey to be fired.

Trump fired Comey, then Comey gets mad, and gets Rod Rosenstein to
appoint a Special Counsel. That is so messed up!

Do you know how hard it is to find someone to prosecute law enforcement?

It was quicker than Michael Moore at a all you can eat free buffet when it came to Black Lives Matter.

There have been multiple requests to AG Jeff Sessions for a Special Counsel. Four more top Senators were added to the list today.

Four Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday sought the appointment of a second special counsel to aid the Department of Justice inspector general in probing the FBI's use of the so-called Steele dossier in its surveillance of a former Trump campaign aide.

The Judiciary panel's chairman, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), was joined by Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), John Cornyn (R-Texas), and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) in requesting that DOJ name a special prosecutor to zero in on possible mishandling of the FBI's Russia investigation prior to the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller. Specifically, the quartet raised concerns about the FBI's relationship with Christopher Steele, who compiled a dossier of verified and unverified intelligence alleging a Russian effort to compromise now-President Donald Trump.

Jeff Sessions is IGNORING all of them! What's going on here?

Are you referring to Anderson Cooper's boyfriend leaving him this week? That's the other thread.
