Waiting for the umpteenth idiot to say "nothingburger" then waiting for that next ridiculous buzzword to be used by every other idiot who has no vocabulary of their own and relies on someone else's shortcut to thinking and speaking. If Socrates were still alive he'd commit suicide and wouldn't have need to be sentenced.

The Deep State got played and they all fell for it. They sealed their own fate and i guess we have to thank them for it. These people are STUPID!

Yeah? The deep state just took down the stock market.

Let's see how long Trump lasts, with a collapsing stock market.

Watch the fun on Monday.

Seems like Trump just called 'all in'... but his opponents didn't fold

They didn't have to fold. Trump just won. They called.

so he was forced to put his cards on the table and as it turns out, he had a big fat nothing all along... lol.

Sure if you believe using false evidence to get a FISA warrent is not illegal. Which it is. And as it was used to spy on Trump's campaign to steal an election, which is not only illegal, but is an attempt to interfere with a Presidential election thereby making it a treasonous crime against the citizens of the U.S.

Just the actions of a desperate man, who's finally starting to realize his days are numbered..

Since everyone knows it was the deep state that did it, the people will give Trump more power to prosecute the guilty.

Could be, and also a clamp down on the media. His base will eat it up and because of the crap vetting and reporting many other Americans will support it.

Welcome to the beginning of the dictatorship.

Weaponizing the FBI or other federal agencies to target people politically is not a "Big Fat Nothing"

Now, people on the right will yell about how this is the biggest scandal since Watergate, despite what it actually is.

Corrections. This is way bigger than Watergate. This is on the same level as Benedict Arnold.

And in two weeks after the spin has worn off and it dawns on everyone how lacking this memo actually is, another so called "bombshell" will be hinted or teased to keep the believers believin'. And the screams of the angry mob will move to another target.

Lacking? It proves that the DOJ and FBI used a false premise to get a FISA warrent? If you think this is lacking, you are not thinking correctly. This is a lot bigger than you think. Watergate has nothing on this.

While it slowly dawns on the rest of the country that the republicans are more concerned with attacking democrats than they are actually governing..

Hmmm. We shall see.

I remember Trump campaigning all about Crooked Hillary. There have been no indictments and she's on a book tour.

How could there have been when the FIX was in That's been verified by texts between S and P.

Then they did a FRAME UP job on Trump.

How exactly is this "false evidence" when a bunch of Trump's people have been proven to be criminals and traitors??

Pal, the people don't care.

They are the sheep.

As long as Americans are being "fed", and can afford to put "gas" in their cars, they are "happy" and "content."

But, you take away one or both of these things, then they'll revolt against whoever is sitting in the Oval Office.

This is the only realty that matters.

Trump is satisfied to just use Hillary as a symbol like the Wall to keep his base fired up. Nothing will happen, they are just playing games.

Need a federal Grand Jury, too.

I figured this is better than an introduction thread, since nobody really pays any attention to them and this is more pertinent.

Today the Trump Adm. released the memo which contains evidence that the DNC and FBI colluded against Trump, his legitimate campaign and his rights as a citizen. In turn, the media launched nothing less than a blitzkrieg on him, his family, his campaign, his supporters. Anything even remotely connected to trump.

But what now? Now that the memo is out, what can happen? What laws have been broken? Who could be indicted and for what? As someone who is not an American, it is exceptionally hard to actually get any meaningful information about it all. The media, naturally, are not discussing it. Even RT is unusually quiet. This would appear to be the biggest scandal in US politics since 1776, but for those of us outside the US, its hard to understand. Can anyone outline it for those of us who don't understand your systems?

Republican "Alternative FACTS", nothing will come of it. Mabey on Hannitys show

What traitor? Page? Has he been convicted or charged yet? In Jail?

No, and he won't be. He is cutting a deal with Mueller to save his bacon. Between Manafort, Jared, Page, comey and Flynn, Mueller has the evidence he needs to go after the real Traitors.

Yeah like one can "cut a deal" on a treason charge.

Too bad the Rosenbergs didn't know that.

Having read most of the replies, I will point out a few factors no one is mentioning.

I believe this is in violation of the law. Here's the problem, it's almost a certainty that both political parties have similar 'issues' over the decades. Some laws applied, even heavily in some cases, other times, ignored. Nod, nod, wink, wink.

Both parties. Bottom line there is likely nervous people on both sides of the aisle on this expose. As this memo was known for quite a while-by both sides- there's a reason for it's release now.

If there IS more to this than just the memo, both sides also know this....same if there's nothing more, again both sides.

I see no 'big' advantage in releasing it if there's nothing to back it up. Logic suggests there is more, therefore. Assuming there IS more, even much more, then this falls to Trump. Does he use it as leverage to enact legislation closer to his platform? Perhaps some low level indictments and convictions with the big players getting a 'stay' of execution in a quid pro quo for cooperation, politically?

Another option could be dump the Russian collusion efforts and this goes away at the same time....

Yet another is use this to pry deeper into the 'deep state' issue and really stir things up.

Chess game and we don't know all the players or options.

Remember sen. Ron Wyden saying dire things, hinting about the patriot act and FISA courts back in 2011, but couldn’t explicitly say it without breaking rules.

“I want to deliver a warning this afternoon: When the American people find out how their government has secretly interpreted the Patriot Act, they will be stunned and they will be angry,” Wyden said on the Senate floor in May 2011

And about the FISA secret court.

“It’s the most one-sided legal process in the United States,” Wyden said in an interview on C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers” that aired Sunday. “I don’t know of any other legal system or court that really doesn’t highlight anything except one point of view.”

With NSA revelations, Sen. Ron Wyden’s vague privacy warnings finally become clear

It appears this has been brewing for years. And it’s time to extract it like the cancer it is. Wyden and Rand Paul are still working on FISA court reform.
