It seems that there is now good evidence that strzok and page were in fact leaking classified info to the media.

It now appears the “Devlin” in question is former Wall Street Journal National Security reporter Devlin Barrett, currently with The Washington Post.

Here’s why? On October 28th, 2016 (as above), at the exact time the re-opening of the Clinton investigation hit the media news-cycle, Page and Strzok were texting. From the released messaging we see at 5:19pm Lisa Page is on the phone with “Devlin”:

♦Page: 5:19pm “Still on the phone with Devlin. Mike’s phone is ON FIRE.”

♥Strzok: 5:29pm “You might wanna tell Devlin he should turn on CNN, there’s news on.”

♦Page: 5:30pm “He knows. He just got handed a note.”

♥Strzok: 5:33pm “Ha. He asking about it now?”

♦Page: 5:34pm “Yeah. It was pretty funny. Coming now.”

At 5:36pm Devlin Barrett tweets:

theconservativetreehouse.com...

There are more examples at the link.

Why are strzok and page still employed by the FBI? There should be an immediate investigation into rather or not they were leakers.

If they leaked this info, I wonder how many other leaks that were coming out to hurt trump they were repsonible for?

Seems these two engaged in quite a few activities that are of questionable legality. It also seems these activities would be against current fbi procedures.

Why they have not been at the least suspended is something I do not understand.

Page worked at the DOJ. That said, why is she still there?

There is enough at this time to suspend them at the very least.

What I read was 'confidential' not classified. Euphemism on their part or did you add 'classified'?

I'm still not buying these two were actually having an affair.
It looks like a cover story for all the two's secrecy.

From everything we've seen...it's been strictly 'business' between these two.

What difference does it make ?

If Strzok and Page actively leaked snip to discredit the presidential hopeful/elect they weren't screed of?

"Confidential" is a level of classification. So both are true.

I am confident that this only scratches the surface of what is already known to the House and Senate Committees that are investigating the mess.

It is long past the time to appoint a special prosecutor and get some of the basic facts out in the open, so that the Mueller investigation can be halted if it is based on poisonous fruit, as most suspect.

It appears to me at this point someone is just feeding mueller and the FBI more rope. Think about it, we all know the Whitehouse knows more about the FBI corruption then we do currently. And what we know already is enough to get this case thrown out of any court if brought to trial.

At this point Trump is letting Mueller go down the road knowing the further he gets the more rope comes with it. If Mueller does try to fire off a change against Trump he risks exposing all the criminal agency he loves and works for dirty laundry.

I think at this point if Mueller does attempt to bring any charge Trump will snatch that rope so hard in a public court setting the the whole FBI will be choked out.

Prediction.. Trump will be exonerated of all charges. The FBI at this point can’t risk their reputation and being exposed over such flimsy evidence.

I was thinking about that too.

Not one text so far to implicate anything personal.

They were "Deep Cover" operatives.

I've thought the same.

And when I look at Page, i wonder how she could get a date to begin with.

I'd probably take her out... if she wasn't married.... and she crazy-glued her lips shut.

Strzok, Comey, Page...the FBI seems to be LEAK HAPPY. I bet Bob Mueller fights the urge every morning, LOL.

Maybe they were not really having affair as some have said here.

If they are the source of leaks from the FBI, they should be put in prison. What goes on in the FBI is classified till it is deemed declassified. Just because these people were siding with the liberal Democrats does not mean that they are protected from disclosure rules of the FBI. I do not believe these two were the only ones either, aim higher, someone up higher was protecting them.

Russia does not need spies and people to disrupt this society, the people working in the FBI are doing all their work for them.

Ouch. I've seen photos of his wife and she looks like Lisa Page. A younger version...

"Classified" just means that a certain document has been put into a certain classification.

"Confidential" is a classification, therefore confidential documents are "classified."

ETA: Sorry, asked and answered already.

But we don't have even remotely close to "everything."

As far as the affair goes in the grand scheme of the matter, who cares if it's accurate or not?

Many thousands of new text messages are being read by the DOJ. Evidence implicating other top people in Obama's Administration, and the liberal News Media, will continue to be released as its uncovered.
