Despite substantial evidence of voter fraud, many states have refused to provide the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity with basic information relevant to its inquiry. Rather than engage in endless legal battles at taxpayer expense, today President Donald J. Trump signed an executive order to dissolve the Commission, and he has asked the Department of Homeland Security to review its initial findings and determine next courses of action.

Just like the FBI and the DOJ the states are refusing to provide basic information. I see a pattern.

By saying it's a national security issue (which it is) States won't really have a choice but to let the feds do their job.

Yeah that is not surprising at all. They were just all bark and no bite. The accused states said no to the investigation and it was over. They were all useless. I doubt that the next investigators will have much luck either. The other side was up in arms for a recount but that suddenly stopped when it turned out to be in HRC states. Go figure.

The DHS isn't a commission, it's a cabinet level department with law enforcement and national security remits. Depending on how they go about it, could be a pretty big stick. Stonewalling could get met with subpoenas and obstruction charges.

The commission didn't actually have any power to prosecute, only to request information and report its findings. They probably stonewalled with the excuse of basically "get a warrant, we don't recognize your commissions authority under the constitution". So he said you wanna play hardball, then we'll send it to DHS, where they can investigate and arrest. By refusing, they basically told Trump where to look for voter fraud.

Democrats would lose too many voters if IDs were checked.

That's racist!

Yeah, it goes far beyond just illegal aliens voting. Dead people voting, out of state voters, people voting multiple times, hanging chads...the Democrats will cheat in every way possible

The biggest scam is using the census data with illegals on it to configure the electoral votes.

Using citizen-only population statistics, American University scholar Leonard Steinhorn projects California would lose five House seats and therefore five electoral votes.

Lol. This thread is funny. President cancels this idiotic investigation, of COURSE he has to blame it on someone else for it failing, and the Trumpbots lap it up like crack without question. This is equally funny after many of these posters refused to believe that Trump talked # about Bannon without practically notarized statements from Trump himself saying it. Meanwhile, no evidence is put forward of the claim in the OP of massive voter fraud, but that is trusted implicitly.

We all saw how corrupt the DNC primary was. They didn't even really try to hide it; they just used the excuse of "our primary, our rules." And then they bought Bernie Sanders a new house so he'd shut up about getting cheated. Why would we think they handle the main election any more honestly?

The joke is on you. The investigation isn't going away, it's being turned over to the DHS, who can call in much bigger guns (literally & figuratively) to get the info they want.

Unsubstantiated allegations.
I see what you did there.

Yes. It's called an analogy to show you the OP's hypocrisy by believing a claim "massive evidence of voter fraud" without that evidence actually being posted. Glad you saw that.

You don't care if there was voter fraud in previous elections?

Why wouldn't you want the voting system investigated?

Might you find that the electoral system is based on census data and unfairly gives electoral seats due to illegal immigrant population?

I do. There wasn't. Here's an investigation that GWB undertook back in 2007 over a 5-year period:
In 5-Year Effort, Scant Evidence of Voter Fraud

Why wouldn't you want the voting system investigated?

Because there is no need.

No, because this is an imaginary myth from Trump because he is a sore loser for losing the popular vote. The only issue with electoral seats I have is the rampant gerrymandering that occurred back in 2010 to help Republicans get more easily elected despite being underrepresented in the states they gerrymandered. Only one Democrat state has been identified of being guilty of this.

All made up right?
www.politico.com...

Though they can’t cast an actual ballot, we effectively allow noncitizens to have an indirect, and possibly decisive, say in choosing the President.

So an article in 2015, over a year before the election, that speculates on illegal immigrant voting in the election is proof in your eyes of voter fraud? *eye roll* You'll just believe anything that confirms your biases won't you? If I find an article that speculates that Trump will overthrow our democracy and install a dictatorship, does that mean it will be true?

It's more than just election fraud Krazy.
We can't have a system that allows for illegals to have any influence upon it.
As it sits now, an illegal doesn't even have to cast a vote.

No worries, the Commander in Chief gets it, and he's going to try to fix it.

Yeah. ALL the studies that have said over and over for years not that voter fraud doesn't happen on a widespread scale are all wrong and Trump is correct because he said so. Nevermind those studies were carried out scientifically and thoroughly, that is obvious fake news when Trump says otherwise!
