Just checked, registration still closed at Binance.

feel free to refer me, if you want a referral bonus! I don't know the details, but sure an existing member does! (just pm me)

It looks like they are just opening it in little (unannounced) windows for volume restriction, so just have to keep checking....

I'll keep checking though. At least I got my initial Ripple investment made.

Personally, and its only my opinion....I think we are on the cusp of the very beginning of more mainstream adoption of investment in crypto.
I think that by the end of Feb, we'll see this time period as the end of the early adopter investor, and the true beginning of the average mainstream Joe investing, which is exactly why I'm getting into it now. We'll see if it's that quick, or takes longer, but just a feeling.

In todays Crypto searchs I came across this article.

The secret lives of students wh9o mine crypto

Goes on to talk bout a place called Nice Hash.

Little piece of software you install.

I installed to checked it out but hit a brick wall.

Neither my CPU or GPU is supported.

GPU is an easy upgrade.

What is everyone's thoughts on this ?

I think college dorms are going to put a cap on the electric bill for students....LOL

Seriously, this is why it works for them pretty well, they don't pay the electric or internet usage.

I think if you or I tried this, we'd run up our electric, and run into seriously throttling from our internet provider.

www.nicehash.com...

I don't know.

A single 1060 can 'theoretically' generate $100/mo in profit.

double it for a second GPU.

Add in the CPU.

Probably work out alright.

Doesn't have to run 24/7.

I'd like to try it.

Just to find out.

Double it.

$474

IF.

It's not all bull snip.

Good luck, let us know if it works out! (and how much impact it had on your power bill and Internet!)
I totally hope you are right!

On another note, Cardano (ADA) is now number 5 on Coinmarketcap....ahead of Litecoin.

That's another one I'm looking to get into soon.

It will be a couple of weeks before I can.

Spent too much on my crypto buying spree.

That's why I want to get in to mining too.

Use every available option.

When bitcoin hit $20,000.

That was a mining check multiplier.

Even if it doesn't work.

I needed a new video card anyway.

So the only thing I'd be out of is a few minutes of time.

And that's just freggin insane.

I can't justify spending over $400 for a video card.

No wonder NVdia stock is over $200 bucks now.

Guess I am gonna go with a 1060 then just add another one later.

Because it's under 4 bills.

When it comes to bandwidth consumption, bitcoin mining isn’t the worst thing in the world and, as a matter of fact, it barely even consumes a lot of bandwidth, whether you are mining on your own with dedicated equipment, or mining in a bitcoin rig with a thousand other miners.

bitcoincasino.best...

So that answers that question.

Just leaves the electric bill.

According to most miners on the internet, the bandwith taken by bitcoin mining activities for a solo miner is very very very low, staying at around 2 MB/hour, which isn’t a problem at all ss long as you have an somewhat decent internet provider.

That's less than watching a movie on netflix.

That's cool, at least. Don't forget to keep the computer really cooled off!

This was stupid easy.

Cool deal! All of the major coins today, back in the green, for the most part. I really shouldn't keep looking, but just too damn tempting not to. I mean, I have alerts set and all, so no damn need for it.

I got out of the PC bit a while ago though, so can't really mine myself. Work all day on a laptop, then have about 2 hrs at home before going to bed, rinse and repeat (as I also board horses, so that takes time!)

Anyhoo, I have fun on the weekends, but it doesn't involve a computer.

I started looking into this just last night. I'm still a bit puzzled though.

My computer is pretty sad.

Geforce 780ti, and my speed is 6.303 Mh/s(hashing power). Faster = better.

AT current rate of speed and I let it run for one month . I will have made $15.11.

Better than a faucet.

Definitely upgrading my video card.
