The United Nations is as dim-witted as the liberal Mainstream media. Neither believed that candidate Trump was SERIOUS with his campaign promise to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Even after he won the Presidency and began fulfilling those promises, they couldn't come to grips with reality. They still haven't, and maybe never will. Minds are too small.

Honorable Mention to the UN Security Counsel overall for vetoing resolution after resolution introduced by the uS to Libya-ize Syria. It worked, the insurgency is routed. No humanitarian corridors or no fly zones to help "Regime Change" Syria.

Ah recall when then candidate was asked about how he would handle Russia's adventures in Georgia?

I believe he said he would let the UN security council handle it - the same one Russia sits on.

Funny many are arguing something and never even been to israel. First what your local news doesnt tell you countries all ready have consulates in jerusalem. I know Russia,france,Uk,Italy,Sweeden,spain,Turkey and still others operate embassies there all ready. They have one in tel aviv and one in jerusalem. In 1995 congress said we should move the embassy from tel aviv to jerusalem. For over 20 years presidents have signed waivers to prevent this approval by congress. Basically the president overiding congress for twenty years. Now what happened it was time to sign the waiver again this time Trump said hed extend it however its time to move the embassy. Hes saying hes not going to sign future waivers.

Now world opinion countries have been playing a game because they have a consulate in tel aviv they can pretend they dont acknowledge jerusalem yet they have embassies there? Reality is it is their capitol to deny that is stupid. And playing games by having embassiesthere but claiming that doest count is stupid.
