In theory, sure. In reality, no way.You might fit a kid back there, but an adult would overload the plane. Empty weight of a 152 is just below 1100 pounds. Max takeoff weight is 1670 pounds. Add 156 pounds in fuel, with a max fuel load of 26 gallons, and the weight of two people, and you're pushing MTOW.

It appears that both might have been on training flights. It was reported already that the 152 was, but people around the airport said the helicopter pilots was one of the most experienced instructors in the country. There was also a report that someone on the ground heard the plane sputtering just before the collision.

That could be important, as if he was having trouble, would have lost altitude, or did so on purpose and crossed paths with the chopper.

From what I've been reading, this is not a good airport to be flying around. The tower is unmanned at least part of the day, there are gliders flying close by that stay low enough to not have to talk to ATC, and it's apparently pretty busy.

Well i just can't help but think the Pilot did it on purpose. God knows what fell upon his ears working for that man, and maybe he just lost it. That happens sometimes.

I am pretty certain it’s fake news as a Rothschild was interviewed very early on after this incident as it was a mile away from their estate and they did not mention any family members being involved
