Hillary Clinton Robbed Bernie Sanders Of The Democratic Nomination, According to Donna Brazile

Hillary Clinton’s campaign took over the Democratic National Committee's funding and day-to-day operations early in the primary season and may have used that power to undermine her rival Senator Bernie Sanders, according to the party's one-time interim chairwoman.

The DNC official, Donna Brazile, now a political analyst, wrote in Politico Magazine on Thursday that she discovered an August 2015 agreement between the national committee and Clinton’s campaign and fundraising arm that gave Clinton “control (of) the party’s finances, strategy, and all the money raised” in exchange for taking care of the massive debt leftover from President Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign.

It wasn't illegal, Brazile said, "but it sure looked unethical."

I am getting the impression the Democrats are imploding and people are starting to jump ship while blaming everyone else for the mess. For Brazile to make this claim is unusual given she was feeding Clinton the debate questions and when she got caught she lied about it only to admit it after the fact. Also why make the "Sanders was cheated" now instead of earlier?

The current DNC leadership is washing their hands of the Dossier and funding which means they are blaming Brazile since she was interim DNC chair after Debbie Wasserman-schultz resigned for her illegal / unethical behavior. Brazile in turn is blaming the DWS leadership of the DNC. I am also curious how this will impact the DNC fraud lawsuits (appealed in federal court while individual claims are refiled at the state level. This admission would bolster the appeal in federal court.

Given the dossier and Russia collusion have now boomeranged back onto Democrats I think we will see further blame games in hopes they aren't indicted for their activities.

It seems to be landing on Clinton.

Should be fun to watch...

Bernie had no business running as a Democrat. He's not a Democrat. He's never been a Democrat.

Why should Bernie get special treatment.

Lol it is not a matter of Bernie getting special treatment, it is a matter of honoring the voice of the Democrat base that wanted him.

As well as the independents that were actually going to vote for a "democrat", they conspired against the voice of the people, that is the problem.

Normally, candidates take over their respective party’s operations after securing the nomination, but Brazile wrote Clinton had done so almost 15 months before last year’s election.

Wow, Bernie Sanders never had a chance.

Interesting, and highlights the power the Clintons have, or had.

Really??
He shouldn't get "special treatment", he should have gotten FAIR, unbiased treatment.

He didn't.

You've summed the DNC up perfectly.

Modus operandi is criminal.

Obeying the law / or operating with ethics is 'special treatment'

This is a cute way to try to rationalize the suspension of democracy in the DNC primary last year.

Trump isn't a Republican but the RNC let the voters choose. Too bad the DNC didn't care what their voters wanted.

I have a hard time believing DB about her own role but her piece on Politico reveals pretty concrete evidence that the DNC, under DWS's incompetent leadership, was financially tanking and essentially sold itself to the Clinton Campaign to keep the lights on.

The significant take away here for the TLDR crowd is that while it's normal for that level of integration between the de facto party leader's campaign (the incumbent President/party candidate in the GE) and the DNC (or for that matter RNC on the other side of the aisle), Hillary Clinton's campaign effectively had the DNC over a barrel only four months into the race, a year or more before she clinched the nomination.

Not illegal but certainly unethical.

It's election fraud, or a show election, duping the public into thinking it has a choice in the matter. This is pure corruption, something found only in dictatorial regimes.

Ummmm, Hillary literally paid to win the nomination. How are you arguing about Bernie's "special treatment"?

I do believe he was registered as a Democrat in order to run as a Democrat in the primaries.
That would have made him a Democrat while he maintained that status.

I think that sound we just heard was the bus barn emptying out in anticipation of the need for having enough available for the throwing under of no longer politically expedient persons.

Wasn't someone recently saying something about the GOP imploding?

So that was August 2015. Interesting.

In September 2015, Politico ran a story on a deal that Obama made with the DNC to help take care of his 2012 campaign debt.

AND BTW....look where the bulk of the debt was owed:

The bulk of the Obama campaign's remaining debt — almost $1.7 million — is owed to Perkins Coie, the prominent law firm favored by Democratic presidential candidates. The campaign is still racking up the bills there, too. Obama for America paid back nearly $12,000 in debt in the second quarter, according to the campaign's Federal Election Commission report, but incurred nearly $194,000 in new bills.
