Ok, this is even going farther down the rabbit hole. Seriously. There have been other instances in mass shootings where a computer was destroyed or components taken but those were all 'prior' to the shootings.

Link

1. So if there was no hard drive....how were the cameras being used?
2. If it is in the room and cannot be found...did someone take it?
3. Why would you have something with you if it was not going to be working?

A laptop computer recovered from the Las Vegas hotel room where Stephen Paddock launched the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history was missing its hard drive, depriving investigators of a potential key source of information on why he killed and maimed so many people, ABC News has learned.

Paddock is believed to have removed the hard drive before fatally shooting himself, and the missing device has not yet been recovered, sources told ABC News.

Now, we are hearing his brother was arrested for child porn..on a computer.

What are you views on this ATSNN?

Seems they don't want the Paddock story to drift away just yet.
Further details to confuse and piss off the public while providing zero answers.

Think this one through:

So dude brings a laptop with no hard drive to his hotel - it's useless, why would he do that when he had so many guns and bullets to haul.

Brings it with a hard drive but removes it and hides it even though he apparently meant to go out in a blaze of glory - unbelievable, why not ditch it before he goes to hotel.

Or, FBI shows up on the scene and "cleans" the room including possible incriminating evidence on their mole's hard drive: likely.

This is why we have conspiracy theories.

He must have thrown it out the window.

Maybe he flushed it down the toilet. HaHa

Was the laptop taken apart?

With most laptops I have ever had, you had to take apart the case to get at the hard disk.
Though I did have one that just had a plate, that had to be unscrewed.

I'm with you, 100% on this one. Changing narrative, orders to hold off on certain leads, lies, lies, and more lies, and now this?

It would be comical if it wasn't such a serious issue.

Actually that's one of two possible scenarios. Either the FBI has it and wiped it clean... OR this proves there is an accomplice. Perhaps he gave it to someone just before the shooting and they took off with the hard drive. Interesting that this information gets released to us because it proves either police corruption or a second person in that hotel room.

This is turning out to be quite the day to turn this rabbit hole into a freaking tunnel!!

I find it very suspicious that the MSM is digging this tunnel themselves, screams of a cover up.

Obviously it was taken by authorities because of whats on it.

Stay tuned. If it incriminates the gubment it won't be mentioned again except in some 'statement' about its content.

Wait guys... he broke the window with the hard drive from his difficult to take apart laptop!

Because maybe it turns out that Paddocks 'former' business dealings with the Gubment aren't that 'former'.

Excellent point, consider it added to my "think this through" post.

Although I would note that whenever I've had to replace a hard drive, you need either a really really small screwdriver or a specially shaped screwdriver. That would indicated that whomever took the hard drive was literally walking around with like three or four screwdrivers on him/her.

Precisely but how does their reporting such info play into the cover up. Maybe they set up the brother to distract from the potential arms dealing that Paddock was involved in?

Or perhaps they are one in the same and they were involved in the nefarious p-gate scenario.

Definitely giving everyone a lot to speculate on!

Under the circumstances (cameras set up but supposedly not working), it looks to me like someone wanted to remove evidence that they were in the room. It's been reported that there are no security cameras in the hallways leading to the rooms, so our second shooter would only have to worry about Paddock's cameras.

Still, it seems to me it would be quicker & easier to just take the whole laptop with you. Unless the shooter thought he'd look conspicuous carrying a laptop around (like maybe because he's dressed up as a hotel security guard
), so he went to the trouble of removing the hard drive so he could just slip it into his pocket.

Perhaps he had no hdd in his laptop and was running a live operating system from a small usb dongle or memory card which would have been quite easy to dispose of.

I thought this guy was out gambling straight 8 hrs, didn't even had time to drill a hole, did the drilling last minute just before the shooting, by that time the concert was almost over. So when did this guy have time to take apart the laptop to remove hard drive ?

Whats next, are they going to say the security guard heard the sound of him taking apart his laptop?

I think it shows things they do not want the public to know about. I always thought it odd they said he set up cameras but did not use them. However, he was 'alerted' there were people on the floor. So, was that alerted by a spotter or by the cameras?

A laptop HDD is easy to remove.

x - out the windows....

Yes, but that all could have been part of the plan from the start so necessary tools would have been brought along. But then again, why take a drive instead of just taking the entire laptop lol? Why leave the computer??

The more I think of it, the more I'm leaning towards the notion that the FBI have have the drive.

This is just bizaare, this seriously points to there having been someone else in the room, probably the real shooter who removed and pocketed the hard drive before killing Paddock and commencing the shooting.

The whole Gov't narrative is breaking down.
