Unfair Physics by Boys Peeing Puts Girls at a Learning Disadvantage

Boys get a leg up because boys pee standing up.
This is unfair and leads to a gender gap in Physics. So says Anna Wilson and a few other bight bulbs from Australia that published a paper that they are not embarrassed about. All this peeing by boys put girls at a disadvantage.

In an article entitled “Taking the pee out of physics: how boys are getting a leg-up,” Anna Wilson, Kate Wilson, and David Low argue that upright urination allows boys to master physics, putting girls at a learning disadvantage. They write, “The gender gap in physics, and other related subjects including engineering, has long been a…concern. ... [W]e have to ask: why don’t young women perform as well in physics?”

The professors argue that by the age 14 boys have the opportunity to practice projectile motion around 10,000 times. UN FAIR.

The professors argue that, because they do it as many as five times a day, “by 14, boys have had the opportunity to play with projectile motion around 10,000 times. And 14 is when many children meet formalised physics in the form of projectile motion and Newton’s equations of motion for the first time.” Sigh... Unfortunately, the late Mme. Marie Curie, two-time Nobel Laureate for physics, was unavailable for comment.

Obviously these professors have nothing better to do with their time. It sounds pretty pathetic to be honest. Really hard to tell if it's serious. Boys gotta pee you know...

I couldn't honestly tell you why girls apparently don't do as well in physics, but I can guarantee it's not related to this. Maybe they're just not drawn to the subject? When I went to school there was a big thing to get girls moving to 6th form (grade 12-13 I guess in America) to take science subjects. Not many did.

Like 80% of my 6th form English literature class were girls, and 60% of the law class. I didn't take any science subjects but I remember there were 3 girls in chemistry and 14 boys.

You can take a quarterback, have him throw the ball 40 yards down field hitting a running receiver mid stride consistently and he still might not even be able to spell physics yet along do the math.

I don't drink these days but when I did I distinctly remember the ability to pee standing up proved to be a considerable disadvantage. I guess that's the pay off for superior physics skills.

This is from the liberal side of the Aussie's, and it's got to be the pee. This is the only reason these pillars of education can come up with.

Yes. But, girls deal with more smelly stuff from the same region, and get periods, so they have an advantage in Chemistry
