So, I created my username way before that dang movie came out.....

I chose "Moana" years ago, simply because I thought it was a pretty name. Then, Disney released the movie called Moana and I absolutely don't want this username anymore. I searched the forums and some people say there's no way to change it, and some people say you can if you contact an admin. I really don't want to start a new account, because I don't want to lose all the old threads I was following or the (small amount) of stars, etc. that I have. So, is it impossible, or should I contact an admin? Also, how do I even go about contacting an admin? Thanks so much in advance.

I liked the movie. That Volcano God was awesome, and the chicken hilarious!

Plus, to be honest, I didn't think of the movie when I saw your name. In my mind it sounded more like Mona.

I really, really hate Disney. A lot. I think I will be starting a new account, unfortunately.

Save all the threads your were following into your favorites. Then just join them again after you make a new account.

I feel for you. I created a username on avforums years ago that has now been copied in various ways by just changing the order of the letters etc, and it was just a six letter word. Perhaps i should sue for copyright infringement.

It's a cool name, so why not keep it?

You would have to reregister with a new username...and all stars, flags, post count would be lost.

That's fair, I probably didn't. Lol. I liked the way it is pronounced out loud (which is 3 syllables, not two, and doesn't sound like groan) but also appreciated the sexual nature of the name. Ah, well. I created a new account. (This is Moana, obviously.)
