You Tube Live Stream of North Korea's Announcement.
www.youtube.com...

Probably not English though. (The comments from viewers on the right side of the page are hilarious.)

The part I saw looked like Mrs.Doubtfire in a kimono making the announcement.

I can't believe Merkel said this:

Diplomacy is the key to solving the North Korea problem, German Chancellor Angela Merkel says.

Merkel believes an agreement with North Korea that's similar to the 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal, which Germany helped orchestrate, could be the answer for convincing North Korea leader Kim Jong Un to disarm, Bloomberg News reported.

“We must now develop similar activities with an eye on North Korea,” Merkel said. North Korea's recent missile tests should “spur us further to move forward with disarmament efforts.”

Source

Figures.....of course Merkel, who is the architect of Europe's illegal migrant crisis and whose gov't helped put together the Iran agreement, would suggest we make a similar one with North Korea.

Words escape me.....that twit has no idea what she's talking about.

U.S. officials say that they are analyzing the data, and will make an official announcement late Sunday morning.

Serious question everyone.

What happens if NK launches a nuke into the Pacific Ocean? Say they detonate it in the upper atmosphere causing an EMP over the Pacific? This would affect air travel. Does this count as an act of aggresion and worthy of an Assault?

(Yes I know the US did it multiple times)

Or say the nuke splashes down in the Pacific and detonates. Destroys sea life in that area, or perhaps near a environmentally protected Atoll? Does that count as war worthy event?

Before they were just missiles. Now they are going nuclear for real.

Feels like we're walking on eggs now. Don't hop.

"Successful" may be a bit of an exaggeration.

Compared to the previous. This is much bigger than the previous test.
I'm willing to say this was more successful than the previous.

Glad you're here. Can they launch this? The consensus seems to agree they can.

It might have been bigger than previous, but that doesn't mean that it was successful. Even if they could launch it, it wouldn't be a successful detonation at the other end. Big, yes, but not what it should be.

So they do have to build a smaller detonator for the missile?

I predict he will use two of these bombs to carry out an attack on SK and US at the same time.
The attack will be carried out when Kim is hunkered up safe in a secret location in China.

US and NK will retaliate and NK will be dust.

China and Russia will then retaliate against US.

US will answer.

Everything will be MAD

They have to successfully detonate one at full power, then miniaturize it and put it on a warhead (yes, I know, North Korea says they already can, and they'd never lie), then have a missile that could get it to the US first.

Got an emergency warning earlier on my IPhone, and so did everyone on a beautiful day at the beach.. Kinda soured the mood truth be told, while most of my patrons thought something should be done, none had an answer as to what...most Japanese are averse to fighting wars ...especially involving nukes.

Damn you lil Kim for fking up a great fall's day with blue skies and white clouds with a gentle ocean breeze..pls keel over and die.
