Going out on a limb and guessing it's a known fault line there that rattles once in a while. A precursor quake (which can run the gamut of minimal to close in strength to the main shock) then a main shock, followed by aftershocks aren't unusual in an EQ chain of events.

This is a picture of a 5.3 earthquake that happened in Soda Springs Idaho.

This is a picture of how it propagrated to Yellowstone

While there's a distance between this locations and Yellowstone I believe the Calderas of the area may link up? IMO looks concerning, hope the experts weigh in.

Its the weather . The above normal temps in the Northern Hemisphere has brought on more Tectonic movement . It will dampen down shortly with the onset of Fall , then Winter. Always does . (I hope...)

Are there any volcanoes in the area ? ( I'm not familiar with that area ).... Maybe some volcanos is waking up ? It seems you are having a swarm , and is that normal for, there ? ...personally I find it odd, but again I don't know the area.

Is that the area that has been above normal because where I've been has actually been pretty much below normal this year except for one pretty miserable run.
