Reincarnation is NOT possible and here's why....

Lets see if I can do this without pissing off half of ATS.....

So the story begins; Let those with discernment understand:

When a human is born it comes with a spirit (of itself) within the physical body. A spitting image of itself and as the human body grows so does this "spirit".

What is cool about this spirit is that it can contact its human self (your consciousness) AND it can contact the Spirit worlds.... (more than one - heaven and hell) This spirit has what I like to call an "activation button" and once activated it too will grow "spiritually" with wisdom and knowledge and your spirit will know things which you will find difficult to properly explain.....like no one ever had to tell you not to kill your parents..... right? You already knew that is wrong.... around the world people who know nothing of religion of Muhammad, Buddha or Jesus .....etc..... but knew right from wrong almost as an instinct.... an instinct we all have BUT activation is needed for the spirit to be able to communicate with your consciousness and subconsciousness because the spirit can only communicate with the human through lucid dreaming and visions. Reason why we are to fast.... so the body realigns (detox) for easier communication - being humble is what God wants to see in you....fasting will bring lucid dreaming.

On rare occasions you might hear someone else's voice in the car and you are alone.....mostly when in danger. Then there are those who can see some spirits....or certain spirits show themselves only to a select few.

Now that is pretty cool but guess what? You can have this too! Many already have it and most of them do NOT use their new gifts but let them die due to lack of belief and practice. What Jesus has so can you have ... actually he did say in the "end times" there will be many who will do much more than he ever did..... Imagine one day Jesus calling you his brother or sister.....making you equal to Christ. Your spirit aligned with God and his Son so that you can communicate PERSONALLY with a fail safe answer which is also shown within a lucid dream or vision.

Oh BTW that temple inside you.......is you.....which god resides inside your temple? Is the important question!

AND most people walking on this rock do not know how to activate their spirit. Grown men and women who walk around like zombies as if they have no soul (NO SPIRIT).....right.... that spirit is almost dead inside.....and some can feel it....like something is dead inside......those who feel this are mostly those who play within the occult....

Then there are those who lose their spirit (some at an early age - others later in life). Many give it away for free sometimes others do it for money, fame or even love. More on this later....

So how can there be no reincarnation when there are millions of people who talk of past lives? Not yet.....you want the short version and that does not work with this issue BUT lets take a close look:

TOM is born and eventually dies. His spirit returns to his creator. That spirit will be judged. His body is in the ground. If he is lucky and receives a resurrection then his body with consciousness (his mind) AND his spirit become reunited as one.

BUT if Tom dies, and Dick is born with Tom's spirit and then he dies and then Harry is born with Dick's spirit or Tom's which actually is Tom's spirit..... so if all three receive an resurrection since all three were humans then which one gets to use that SINGLE spirit? You can not divide the spirit just like a human.... it can not survive.

There is no ongoing sale in heaven on spirits....50% off nope....

Jesus is one person and God activated Jesus spirit when he was a small child.....Do not forget when Jesus was left behind in Jerusalem and when found was at the temple teaching priests.....at 12!!

The dove striking Jesus was a symbol of God's spirit entering Jesus .... Jesus spirit has now been fueled up.....his tank is full of God's spirit, which includes healing the sick, raising the dead, walking on water, rebuking a storm and it immediately stops....etc.... Jesus spirit is now intwined with the spirit of his father. He has been shown (once again but this time in the flesh), everything revealed, he can communicate with God and vice versa...Jesus can hear his father's voice, Jesus spirit can hear, see in the spirit, and speak to his father who is in heaven while he is on earth...(Internal communication built-into every human being - a human's spirit..... to choose. Making choices.....free will. Free Will ...... BUT without a operators manual...so you don't know what all comes with a spirit.....all its accessories and free add-ons....

The operators manual has to be a book concerning spiritual teachings. So how do you train a human who cannot see into the spiritual world to..... to be able to look into the spiritual world. First it needs a consciousness anything else is nothing more than an add-on....Human body is an add-on, in the flesh your consciousness is your mind/brain, and since we are an image of God and since God is spirit, he also gave us a spirit, (which is you - go look in the mirror) and your spirit will separate from the body once it dies. What happens next? Right? So where can you get this operator's manual. You can find them laying around in churches, libraries and even hotels.....the bible..... a book written in both flesh and spirit.

Jesus is the son of God. He sits on the right side of God ..... not the left side...... BIG SYMBOL .... wife, family, servants sit to the LEFT! Jesus sits on the right side of God's throne. He sits on God's throne with God.......ONLY HIM no one else....Two individuals, siting in two seperate chairs, yet both have the identical same consciousness, operating as one unit, yet only ONE will judge ALL. Can you start to see how the three can actually be one - The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit , all three with one consciousness .... some call this the trinity? BUT this consciousness of God will be given to all whom he chooses to live with....making the trinity no longer valid.... for we too will have this consciousness (in the spirit) sons and daughters (like Jesus) with the same gifts.... The trinity turns into billionity (new word for the future?)

At Last. Jesus, you returned. I was hoping for your deliverance of the masses from that evil belief that curses the old and turns to fanatics the children!

Now, your post makes no sense to me, because I ain't no Jesus freak, however, what I've just said above stays valid. Reincarnation is one of the worst things happened in the social belief system. People just don't get the point... the whole idea is so profoundly egoistic that it changes your inner alchemy, binds you to the earth and slavery of the casts, disregarding all that is given... You turn to your own Judas. And the greatest con is that you don't even get anything in return. It is just another berlin wall in your h e a d.

I respect your opinion , but I hate it when people use the bible to limit this world and its endless posibilities. I for myself know that I've experienced several reincarnations (and interviewed people that had experiences). It's possible , it's normal. reducing it all to a 'game of thrones' is nice but not really in my opinion evidence at all.

You're splitting hairs here with resurrection v. reincarnation.

Anyway, go to the source of the reincarnation philosophy--The spirit is described as a back-seat passenger on the never-ending carousel.

The spirit is subdued while in the body. The body is just to house, hold, and preserve the spirit temporarily. The spirit will come into play when the time is right. The spirit has to find the right vehicle. It is a graduation process.

Thus, the apparent dormancy seen in some.

If reincarnation of the spirit isn't a thing, I'd be very disappointed with the cosmos for half-assing it!

Interesting way of doing the math
I don't believe in reincarnation because the math doesn't add up. Due to population increases. How do you start with two people ( or spirits) and end up with millions from those two? Where did these spare spirits come from if they were in another body before birth? The same two people ( or one person) would keep recycling over and over and be thousands of years old. Then it means there are hardly any spirits out there in the world. Makes no sense.

I didn't explain it right but you get my drift.

I think we are born as a complete set, sprit and body, we die as such. The spirit might go someplace magical, who knows.

As far those alleged memories of past lives, it's simply genetics, since we can inherit memory genes

And what about all those organ transplants where you might take on the personality of the donor. The spirit might be in every cell of our body. Break a piece off and a piece goes with it, as proven by when you cut off part of a leaf the aura remains around the full leaf, as if it's still there. Amputees get phantom limbs syndrome, as do paralysis victims. Maybe that's more physical, but I'm trying to say I think it's all one unit. It belongs to its own self.

I guess I always think of the spirit inside me is just my mind. Some think soul. You say spirit. A brain dead person can't operate their body. With some luck it might be revived though.

I'm tired and can't communicate well. Hope it was understandable.

I do not want to charge the topic of the thread, but let me say that: 99% of the people have NO idea what the spirit is. In Latin you can meet the same word as well as animus or daemonion. There's nothing complete in this concepts. They are shell-less. Form-less. Like the word - "substance". They have their very exact meaning, but that is non-solid. Spirit is non-solid, non-graspable idea. Basically it is impossible to be OUT or IN the body because of the same reasons. That's why I am saying 99% of the people are on the wrong track. Literally everyone misinterpret this word in a way that it is not supposed to be used.

You can use the white body. (it has form)
You can use the word mind. (it has function derived from form)
But you can not us the word spirit like the other two. (its boundless, non-solidable, just like yourself)

I am glad you brought this point up.... you see I am a private investigator (since the 90's) worked a couple thousand cases, thousands of interviews and most of the time (even atheist) bring some type of spiritualism into the interviews and off tape. Yea I talk to many people as well and a few hundred I went into depth with their "alleged" past lives....they see this in lucid dreams......hmmm..... do I say more?

Every prophet in the bible who spoke for God either had a dream or vision of what God told them. God tells us in the OT that he is spirit and we cannot come to him but he can come to us.....in our dreams and visions....

I don't mean to sound like a downer, but these takes on reincarnation are extremely 2 dimensional and uninspired.

It doesn't matter what you believe about reincarnation, it's the very nature of the universe. You've realized this many times between lives already.

I "think" I might agree with a few words here and there..... again NOT to derail my own thread but I have seen the other side on more than one occasion and once as an NDE.... There is something on the other side and some who die and come back....bring back something with them.... I brought something back.

Speaking of physical properties within a physical environment is easy for most humans to understand but remove the word physical and replace it with spiritual and now it becomes a mystery and an unknown. YES to the blind this is true but there are those who know how to use their spiritual eyes to see within the spirit world.
