Back in 2015 there was an article on posted on poleshift.ning.com... titled Roll of South America, posted by Kojima on January 5, 2015 at 3:30pm.

It spoke of Indonesia, as buckling and sinking, and of South America getting ready to roll.

I saw several videos the last couple of days showing a sudden lost of water along South America's eastern coast line. There doesn't seem to be a consensus for the cause. Later I saw this video that shows not only the lost of water along South America's coast, but a surge of water hitting the Western coast of South Africa.

I am no expert on this kind of thing, so I decided to bring it ATS where I am sure there will be someone that knows a bit more about this. I also wonder if the coming eclipse has any factors that may play into this occurrence.

Wow. That is quite interesting.
I look forward to following this post.

I watched with the sound down but I will watch with sound later.

For now, the first shots of the beach are to my eyes a normal beach at a normal low tide. Boats are often left to beach at low tide. The gushing tsunami could be filmed anytime.

But as I said, no point in me commenting because I haven't even listened to the sound!!!

No, South America has not "rolled."

Any such movement of that large a land mass would send measurable waves all over the globe and there is no way anything like that would go unnoticed.

Come watch live (minus 9-14 second delay for streaming) spectrograms across the world on TrueAmerican's live spectro feed. Ask questions and learn about what is seen and you will see how something like what is posited is impossible.

I'm going back to look at yesterday's post on Canada receding water. Holy crap! That would be planetary.
Water just receded off a coast line in Canada revealing an old structure. The post was more about the structure than the water but with this is a little more alarming.

It looks like the result of an underwater earthquake.

Jade I respect your scientific knowledge, but impossible just describes something that has never happened before, and is based on what is accepted as a scientific norm.

When things happen that have not happened before, science often has to go back to the drawing boards and come up with a new consensus.

I don't want this thread to fall into the Doom Porn category, but I think our Earth is capable of doing a lot of things that we have never seen before. Not because science is wrong, but because the variables are always changing. I don't think that we should dismiss an idea, just because it seems to be impossible.

I'm saying that the movement would be impossible to hide and that the energy required to move a continent is also enough to basically destroy any life on the surface of the planet should that amount of energy ever be released.

This is a recording for part of the 7.7 that happened in Kamchatka last month.

The video shows the waves from this quake being picked up all over the world; well 36 minutes of them anyway, they actually were measurable for around 5 or 6 hours.

Now a 7.7 quake is nothing to sneeze at, but it is minuscule when compared to the amount of energy needed to move a continent by the amount depicted in the referenced article.

Impossible to hide any such energy release anywhere in the world because of signal propagation.

I am going to have to do some serious reading before I even know what it is that I am looking at on True American's live spectro feed.

It looks interesting but class is about to start. I checked out PNSN wesbite, it looks like a good place to start.

Thank you for the link.

You're most welcome. Come back to the channel when you have the time, ask questions and get up to speed. I promise it doesn't take very long to get a good basic understanding of what is shown in the feed. A more nuanced grasp comes after a while and even TA is sometimes baffled by what is seen there.

I thought the video was interesting too. I saw it earlier this morning. I suspect though, that people might blow it off because it is a "dahboo7 video. That's how ATS rolls sometimes...

That is interesting, but I think "roll" might be a bit of a misnomer--it brings back memories of this gem:

My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize.

It is interesting to watch this stuff happen, though--makes me wish that we had an MRI machine that could capture images of what's happening beneath the surface.

Ok. For the 10 millionth time.
It is not a physical shift in the poles. It is a shift of the MAGNETIC POLES. Which , by the way , happens on a very frequent basis. Nothing happens......except satellites and airports have to re-calibrate a small bit.
Learn science , please.

Lets see...an article about about major land masses rolling , using footage from normal events over the years , on a website named polar shift , and the OP touting the upcoming total solar eclipse
Yeah , I am all in
Not....

That's basically what seismograms and spectrograms are; they use the measurments from the seismos and spectros in a process called sesimic tomopraghy. It takes a bit of analysis by software to arrive at the images, though.

The closest thing you're going to come to watching it happen live, at least for the present, is TA's stream.

My sister came to visit from Uruguay. She told me about this around 2 weeks ago; I looked it up and found nothing.
She told me that it was because there was some tropical storm or something around the time.

Ummm...I hate to be..that guy...I know...I know...

But the last magnetic pole shift...not the leftist Guam theory...was approximately...780,000 years ago and they averaged about every 300,000 years...so we're past due for one and may be in the process now...

So we haven't been through a full reversal since we came down out of the trees...

im sticking this in my "utter crap" folder as the waves crashing onshore in the clips i am certain i saw last year connected with a tropical storm of south africa.
and as has been said any such event powerful enough to produce the effects described would show up on seismographs globally.

and finally the stream of tinfoil hat bat guano crazy other stuff listed by the toober

I had a crazy day yesterday and on top of that had a call out. It gets busy for me when schools starts up again. So didn't have a chance to get back to answering.

You are probably right. I looked for additional information to follow up on the event and found almost all the stuff that I had seen before was gone. All that was left, and I don't know for how long, was one obscure blog with a video that didn't give any information, or even talk about the video, the video I included in my post, and our ATS discussion.

I am not sure why all the other reports were removed. Maybe it is a hoax. I didn't find any information defining it as a hoax, yet. Maybe my post will be removed as well.

Anyway it looked weird to me, so I brought it to the one place I was confident would have answers. ATS did not fail me. I thank everyone for their input.
