Someone has leaked a copy of a letter from HR McMaster to
Susan Rice, pertaining to the Unmasking Scandal.

Photo of actual letter at the link.

National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster granted top Obama official Susan Rice top-secret security clearance. The letter, in which McMaster notified Rice that such powers were granted to her, can be seen below.

Almost one month after it was disclosed that former President Obama’s National Security Adviser Susan Rice was unmasking members of President Trump’s team and other Americans, Trump’s own national security adviser, H.R. McMaster, sent an official letter giving her unfettered and continuing access to classified information and waiving her “need-to-know” requirement on anything she viewed or received during her tenure, Circa has confirmed.

The undated and unclassified letter from McMaster was sent in the mail to Rice’s home during the last week of April. Trump was not aware of the letter or McMaster’s decision, according to two Senior West Wing officials and an intelligence official, who spoke to Circa on condition that they not be named.

It is not known where the letter originated from, but
logic applied it could be from Grand Jury evidence.

White House officials comments on it;Trump
was unaware at the time of the leak.

Is it true that the date on the letter is redacted?

It appears redacted, yet the verbiage of it appears it was sent
to "fix" Susan Rice's unmasking violations.

I don't know, it is strange wording.
Hoping some other sites will comment on the timeline.

Need to to be careful - because if the letter is a leak then why is the date and some information redacted?

Redactions will become a houselhold name soon

Apparently Circa has this first, just learned that.
I'm trying to find the original source.

Either way, the letter was leaked to protect Rice.
IMO.

Won't be the last for sure

Kinda ties in with THIS ....

Intelligence chairman accuses Obama aides of hundreds of unmasking requests

The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee is accusing top political aides of President Obama of making hundreds of requests during the 2016 presidential race to unmask the names of Americans in intelligence reports, including Trump transition officials.

Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), in a letter to Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, said the requests were made without specific justifications on why the information was needed.

“We have found evidence that current and former government officials had easy access to U.S. person information and that it is possible that they used this information to achieve partisan political purposes, including the selective, anonymous leaking of such information,” Nunes wrote in the letter to Coats.
The letter was provided to The Hill from a source in the intelligence community.

In Thursday’s letter, Nunes said the total requests for Americans’ names by Obama political aides numbered in the hundreds during Obama’s last year in office and often lacked a specific intelligence community justification. He called the lack of proper justifications a “serious deficiency.”

Exactly. Just saw a breaking report that Coats and Sessions are
planning a press conference tomorrow.

And Ben Rhodes has been subpoenaed.

Is there anything related to the numbers 704 in this Rice and McMaster story? Pol received another cryptic message from WHI on 08/02 and warned us to keep an eye out for the next 48 hours.

It just looks more and more like a russian collusion frame job. The fact that they kept this hidden from the public is very telling. What the hell were they doing?

Here is Circa's story on this. The redactions on on their version as well.

Shortly after Circa released the redacted documents disclosing the change in rules, it was revealed that Power had also extensively requested permission to unmask American names in incidental foreign intercepts.

Weaponized Intelligence Gathering.
For political purposes.

Scariest thing ever.

It's like Hilter all over again.

Only Trump won.

Susan Rice testified in private before the Senate intelligence committee two Fridays ago. She could have given them that letter, as part of the throw people under the bus agreement.

As I read the letter it mentioned 'historical basis' and for anything she had originated, signed, reviewed or received.
Don't believe it allows for any future documents.

It was also my understanding that you keep whatever security clearance you had prior to leaving,

The whole secret illegal surveillance operatus used by the Obama administration to spy on american citizens reminds me of the german STASI. A lot of people vanished into thin air when they were still in charge. Scary indeed.

Thanks J&C!

I think the letter is also on White House letterhead.

Would that indicate a time frame?

That doesn't make sense.

As I said in another thread, this appears to be a confirmation letter to Rice that her clearance is still in place and it can be used if she decided to work for another agency or private sector job requiring a clearance.
