I dont have the opportunities you have in the US but i do live under the flight path for Adelaide airport and at times RAAF edinburgh . Missed a great
shot of a globemaster flying down the street a couple of days ago . Approaching night , it was all lit up but plenty of light to see the plane . Oh
well .
I'm getting a new lens towards the end of the month that's going to make it more fun. I'll be able to do corrosion checks on planes going overhead at
altitude almost.
It's all about planning. We're picking up a load in Dallas today, but it's only 3 hours between the two, so we decided to just sit all day
yesterday
We'll be gong by Mojave and Edwards on Monday with this load.
Nice going look forward to more pics. Boeing put a vid up on YouTube of a C17 doing the mach loop haven't managed to watch it all yet. Oh I'm off to
Duxford tomorrow for the flying legends show so I'll put some pics up sunday night or Monday depending how tired I am.

Woody510 because: Extra information
I usually run just short of infinity, and just barely twitch it as they come by. My new one is a 500 so it'll be fun to see how it works driving by
places.
500 and driving . Good luck.lol . I set the focus on trees that are about a K away so probably just short of infinity as well now i think about it .
Scoped Edinborough today and not much there but found a good spot .
You'd be surprised. We've gotten pretty damn good at getting shots while driving. That lens will be pushing it, but I think we can get some decent
shots.
I don't think they are for this class. The July class tends to be US units, and see things involved that they prefer not showing off for others. The
first and sometimes last class of the year see quite a few foreign units. I'll have to see the list for this one though to check.
At 300 i might take 5 shots for one really good one . Mind you it has to be perfect for me to put on here . At 600 i am thinking tripod shots only
unless its really good light (winter now ) .
For now, I'm mostly going to be using the 500 for shots of Pinal, Mojave, and what we can see of the Edwards ramp when we go by. I'll keep the 300 for
shots like these. I probably took 400 shots yesterday and am happy with about a third of them.
