Yay! After waiting so long, Rick and Morty will finally be back on Adult Swim to tickle my funny bone starting July 30th.

Here's a teaser for it:

Hate that we always have to wait so long for a new season......but then being a fan of Sherlock, that should be something I'm used to.

Ah terrific. I was fortunate that I only discovered this show a few months ago. So the wait has not been so long for me.

Watched the April fool's episode last night again in celebration! Been a long time coming on these episodes...And if you noticed in the trailer there is a mention of 9 seasons planned. Which explains all the scenes in the shows intro that I've never seen episodes for.

That would be cool, I did wonder about the credit sequences, because I did think all of that stuff was going to be in episodes later on in the season.

Didn't actually know they'd released an episode on April 1st either, going to try and track that down to watch now... cheers.

Oh man it has been such a long wait so long that I have had to subsist on the various scraps thrown my way though they were good scraps.

They went so far as to animate an actual court transcript from a Case in Georgia.

Fair warning the language gets pretty crude.

Gotta love Rick and Morty. That court parody is one of the funniest clips I have seen in a while.

Every person is different. Every person has different tastes, likes, dislikes and opinions.

If we all liked and hated the same things, what a really dull world this would be.

Some people find slap stick comedy funny. Some people find only smart puns funny. Some people like a variety of different kinds of humor.

In no cases does one's tastes of the things they like indicate the level of their intelligence.

Any who think that, need to step back and take a look at their own level of understanding.

The first few episodes were good, and it degenerated into stupid for some episodes, but then saw a couple of decent ones.

Personally would like to see Metalocalypse come back.

"Smart" people realize that humans can be very smart, yet at the same time, like to have entertainment that can be simple, mindless, and even just outrageous.

There is NO written rule anywhere that smart people only watch docus.

How boring. While I love to kick back once in a while and watch docus on certain subjects, it's not the only thing I watch, after a while, it would get mind numbingly boring.

Even people that I know who are much more intelligent than me enjoying seeing something entertaining, that is not all based upon facts and logic.

They enjoy SciFi, they like fantasy, they like romances, they like mysteries.

Your analogy is flawed. Think about music, and people's taste in it. Yes, some people only like to listen to one genre of music. Others may have a few different ones, and some enjoy quite a few different genres of music.

Hell, even Stephen Hawking loved Star Trek, and was even in a TNG episode.

Think about that for a while.
