Escaped Georgia Inmates Who Killed 2 Guards Caught By Armed Citizens

A Tennessee homeowner held two escaped inmates wanted in the killing of two prison guards at gunpoint Thursday until authorities arrived and made the arrests.

Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesman Lt. Bill Miller said late Thursday that the homeowner caught Donnie Rowe and Ricky Dubose trying to steal his vehicle.

Miller says the escaped Georgia inmates had crashed a car while being chased by law enforcement and fled on foot into woods along Interstate 24 near the rural community of Christiana.

Miller says something alerted the homeowner that people were outside his home and he saw the men trying to steal his vehicle. The trooper says the homeowner held the two at gunpoint with a neighbor he called until the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department could get there to arrest them.

I'm from the tri-state area, these guys were caught near Lynchburg TN where they make Jack Daniels. Somehow I knew this manhunt would end this way, and I'm glad it did. No ones been injured, but they did break into a home, tied an elderly couple up and stole their car, before running from the cops again, ditching that vehicle, then they ran up the wrong driveway.

Yeah I can wait to see the gymnastics the media tries to do to avoid reporting that little fact.

Yeah I know, I've been lookin for any libral spin put on this story, but it's pretty cut and dry. Even CNN is crediting the armed homeowner.

Good thing they were in Tennessee . We here in Georgia have a tendency to have muscle spasms in our index fingers at times like these....

...well actually it does, because like the homeowner I expect the worst from escaped killers on the loose, which is how and why they were caught.

I was reading about it on my local news website this morning. I guess the lefties forgot to report about them being captured by law abiding armed citizens. That little nugget was left out.

Yeah local news is even worse than the national ones. They don't even attempt to maintain a pretense of non-partisanship, at least not around here they don't.

It's awesome news to hear that these two thugs were caught. I fully appreciate the news that they were caught by a resident of the tri-state area because those people are there know right from wrong. Residents from there they're either on the right side or the wrong side, but you don't want to cross either side. It''s no cluck's given if you are trespassing kind of place.
