Well, the weather has finally broken here in soggy Scotland.
My beautiful tan will be gone in a few milliseconds as the torrential rain wreaks its usual havoc.
So, it looks like I shall be returning to my normal Pale Blue colour soon.... should I join the blue army too??

Good morning Shedizens -

I'm pretty sleepy today. Mrs. Shepherd left on a trip this morning just after 3am local time. Just me and the Shepherditos this week. I'm back on page 16 but I will check in when I get caught up. I have a new episode of Falling to post and I'm working on a story for this month's writing contest. Back in a bit!

I've posted another episode of Falling if you all are interested. We just got done with a memory from Gaalen, now we see a memory from Siere. Fair enough. It's a lovely day on the prairie too. Shame to have to work indoors.

Oh, and an important safety tip that I have learned from past lives. When testing if you can fly, always start from the ground and go up. Do NOT start at the top of a tree or building!

I've learned something in this life Jay: it's best not to wait to try to fly until you are at the bottom of the canyon.

Well, it's mostly been converted to farmland now. I live in what would be classified as rural Minnesota. Cornfields and soybeans mostly, with the occasional dairy farm, chicken or turkey farm, or horse ranch nearby.

150-200 years ago, though, my home would have been grassland prairie with north American bison (buffalo) roaming in herds.

I used to always wish I was born in either frontier America times or the medieval times, because I always felt like I was born for wilder and more exciting times.

Be careful what you wish for. You may find yourself in exciting times, and discover you do not like it very much. I have had this feeling lately that something major is about to happen in our world.

But then again, I write apocalyptic fantasy fiction, so I may just be influenced by my own imagination. LOL
