errr.... where is everyone????

I know that if I were to stop posting I wouldn't be missed much.
Some members would probably celebrate and move on.I feel some
members just needed some time off from posting.Some have gotten
jobs that might keep them from posting.Members have gotten sick
and some have passed away.

ATS depends on members for the site to grow and continue on into
the future.You can't depend on a few to carry the load,you have to do
your share.You want quality threads you have to post them yourself.
This is just my 2 cents worth of advice...Mama

Because it's a lot easier to complain about the lack of quality threads, then it is to put the effort into making one.

That is the way it used to be.

Look through the threads. Quality posts are either derailed or they wither on the vine.

Too many that post to ATS today, don't come here for discussion or to deny ignorance.

Thing is that on almost every site I frequent that used to have a lot of really interesting topics even if most weren't good conspiracy fodder, the current political turmoil has pretty much sucked all the air out of the room.

Sure a lot of what I read was political based, but there was a range of things to read about. Sometimes, I shared, but lately, it's almost all related to one thing in some way or other. I think we're seeing that reflected back here.

I don't think it's all necessarily a reflection on the current active membership, but if we pass along what we see ... and they're seeing what I am seeing ... well, what is there to pass on that isn't related? It's pretty hard to find good stuff that isn't all that one topic 24/7.

Some of the best IMO have been banned.
