No whites allowed in the BLM meeting, it's a "black only space".

Black Lives Matter Philly banned white people from an upcoming event, claiming it is a “black only space.”

The April 15 meeting plans to discuss projects and initiatives for the upcoming year and act as a place for people to “meet, strategize and organize.” While children are invited to attend, white people are explicitly banned from the meeting, according to the Facebook event page.

If you identify as a person of African Diaspora, you can attend. If not support them in other ways. Diaspora means taken out of Africa for slave trade.

“If you identify as a person of the African Diaspora You can attend our meetings and become a member. If not you can support us in other ways,” Philly BLM said in a tweet. “African Disapora” usually refers to people who were taken out of Africa during the Transatlantic Slave Trades.

BLM points to Malcolm X saying he banned whites too.

The group also referred to Malcolm X, saying he too had banned whites from his meetings on race.

Let me guess.
You really wanted to attend and now can't?

This ought to bring interracial support to the terrorist black supremacist organisation. Way to go.

I'm surprised that FB allowed this. Seems like maybe a little racist.

So they are straight up racists pigs, but in their case it's accepted because it's a minority "safe space."

If they want to have a private meeting, then they should be able to.

I may not agree with everything they believe but they have the same rights as anyone else.

Unless you are a teenage girl, why would you care what FB allows?

I think FB should have a standardized policy for it's users.

And I didn't say this is a meeting I was planning on attending. I would be welcomed though.

Ok. I'm not quite sure why a grown man, if you are in fact a man, should care about FB or it's policies.

If a white group refuses blacks they are racists. Why the double standard?

I see where you are coming from.

But this is literally, outright 'racism' in it's more pure and evil form.

Once you have established a 'THEM' and 'US', it's reared it's evil head of pure nationalism. Selfish if you ask me. No regard for community or bettering the society you live. Just going backwards.

People have the right to be racist.

We may not agree with them, but it is their right.

White groups are just as free to have meetings where it is white only.

Call them whatever you want. there is no restriction on criticism.

But in a free society, people should have the freedom to meet with whom they want.
