Her attorney says she has a learning disability, of which made her confused about being a US citizen or an illegal resident.

Well she crossed the border illegally to get into this country, right? How confused can she be?

Tip of the iceberg, folks. There's more to come I'm sure.

Fraud is fraud.

Do the crime do the time.

Sounds about right for the crime.

Hopefully she is deported after doing her time in prison and not allowed back.

8 years seems a bit much for voter fraud (single person fraud).

More importantly, why pay to keep someone in prison for 8 years (to reform them from that sort of behavior) and then immediately ship them out of the country after they are out? That makes no sense at all.

Plenty of time to learn the error of her ways.

Me?

I'd just deport no more room and board.

Good.

We need to send a message to these people.

An Irony she can ponder for the next 8 years.

So if I murder someone I can just say I have a learning disability and I thought I killed a bug?

Technically you could, but remember that defense didn't work for this woman.

The only crack she'll be smoking is (censored) in a prison cell.

As a Trump supporter I agree wholeheartedly! Lock her up until the wall is finished then deport her.

Hmmm...that's funny. She did it twice? So 4 years for each vote...like a presidential term for each one.

Sounds like a ridiculously long sentence for voting fraud. I'm sure her one vote didn't sway the election. Some manslaughter charges get less time!

Why not just take her off the voting roll. Instead, put her in prison with a bunch of criminals who may change her attitude for the worst. That's great rehabilitation along with people whose only crime was using marijuana or abusing drugs. We're producing more criminals than rehabilitating them. This is a perfect example.

And we wonder why our prison system is over-crowded?

She wont. Trump will have her deported. All as it should be.

Deportation... Yes. Maybe possibly even a little time (months) in jail to let it sink in and for others to see. But 8 years? That's just dumb and a waste of taxpayer money.
