ufo appears to be chasing jet-short video

This particular sighting has now appeared on three ufo websites I monitor regularly.

Whatever it is, its moving quite fast, and it can't be a plane as there is no contrail. The person who saw this said that military pilots train in the mountains around where he lives ( in New Hampshire), so when he saw the jet and ufo sighting he did a double take.

The witness goes on to describe the sighting:

The witness thought that the object looked strange – possibly something the military built, but not a jet. “I knew it wasn’t a jet because it was actually right behind one. The jet it was chasing left a long contrail behind it, but the UFO did not. The UFO was gaining on the jet. No helicopter could do that. I was blown away and luckily got out my phone in time to take a video. I watched the object gaining on the jet for about 10 seconds when I lost them in the trees.”

He mentioned what happened when the sighting went out of his viewing range:

“I felt I had witnessed something very hard to dismiss as a weather balloon or some obvious type of aircraft. Shortly after the jet and object left my range of sight I saw three more jets and one helicopter going the same direction (in my opinion chasing the UFO). I also got another video of those other aircraft. I would like to show the video to an aviation expert and maybe get an explanation. I’m uploading to MUFON hoping for answers.”

There is a New Hamsphire Mufon Investigator checking this sighting out.

You can't declare it not a plane because it's not leaving a contrail. I've seen planes flying very close to each other with one leaving a short contrail, or no contrail at all.

whatever the ufo is, it does look to be larger than the jet. Definitely looks more oval shaped at least to me.

It could be two planes. The one not leaving a contrail might be at a lower altitude than the one leaving a contrail.

The fact that the object not leaving a contrail appears to be moving faster than the one leaving a contrail is a hint that it could be at a lower altitude and closer to the camera; things that are closer to the camera/observer seem to be moving faster than farther objects, even if they aren't faster.

Interesting. Can't say what it is. It looks round and white but from so far away that could just be an optical illusion.

Not a bird or a lantern or an insect, or lens flare.

It could be a plane? A military exercise or escort??

I defer to our aviation experts here on that one.

Interesting how the UFO seems to move in a jerky fashion. Did anyone else notice that?

Different type,with more light reflecting off it. If there's more light on it it will change the appearance of the shape from the ground.

A refuel plane perhaps? Hard to tell with a quick look from a shaky mobile phone video.

My assumption .. not thats in an expert in anything but the larger flying object that leaves no contrail is closer to the camera and lower to the ground. The one leaving the contrail is a lot higher and further away

gonna go with another plane at a lower altitude.

unfortunately cell phone camera optics aren't that great at catching ufo's.

I didn't perceive any jumpiness, except for when the camera zoomed and panned. The zooming was somewhat mechanical, and (for me) made the movement of the objects appear jumpy.

Yes I noticed the jerkiness dont know if its product of the video recording or camera but certainly interesting

Yep. That's the most likely possibility, just noting there are tankers there too.

I was watching the jerkiness of the UFO in relationship to the jet. Zoom into see just the jet and the UFO. The jerkiness doesn't seem to be up and down, but as if the object changes speed. It looks wonky, like some kind of editing effect. Not saying it is faked, just that the jerkiness looks wonky like that.
