Because the AG was a political hack, just like the judge who issued the ridiculous stay in the first place.

The law is in The President's favour.

Look at the reaction of the law enforcement agents across the country. They know what's up. It's sad she did not, but that problem has been solved with little time to waste.

Trump's EO is well within the law.

If it was why did the Acting AG not want to defend it?

Maybe its a GOP thing to fight tooth and nail for things that they know will be stopped by the courts.

You do realize that Presidents Trumps EO was brushed thru with a fine tooth comb by lawyers who represent Constitutional law who are employed by the Federal Government and paid by the tax payers right?

That was a rhetorical question by the way.........

It's just that he's laid his cards on the table for everybody to read.
I read them and weep, as they say. He doubles down when he should fold.

(I can't think of anymore gambling analogies atm.)

"President Trump violently attacks Attorney General with a bat and throws her out the window"

There are no limits to the level they would sink to..

Sally Yates stood up to the unconstitutionality of the EO. Bravo to her for being on the right side of history and doing the right thing.

Also importantly, I love reading the right wingers' comments regarding this topic and all of you are cheering the fact that Gates was fired.

What you don't consider is how she reinforced the fact that Trump is a dictator. The global community and the US corporations have come out to denounce the muslim ban. The federal courts have already come out to say that the EO is unconstitutional.

Right wingers may rejoice of this, but the reality is that this is a huge black eye for Comrade Trump as he continues to dig his own political grave as the headlines of this will be plastered around the world.

Its not unconstitutional and her name is Yates, not Gates.

also your claim the courts have ruled the EO as unconstitutional is a flat out lie as no courts have ruled as such. By all means though please link us to your source.

Exactly. She did a heroic act and knew ethically it was wrong to support the stance from the Trump camp.

5 stars for Yates.

She put her crybaby feelings above the law.

She should never work in the legal or public fields ever again.
