The results were actually calculated within an hour of the end of the contest...
But the results have to be verified by a Mod or staffer, and we're all on different time zones!

I haven't heard back yet re: verification... but it has been a couple of days now... and I did double-check everything.... so, in the absence of a better plan.... I think I'll just go ahead and make the announcement?

I got absolutely nowhere the first few contests that I entered.
Then I got 4th place, and 4th again.... and.... yup! LOL
I think I was on my 7th or 8th contest before I finally made the podium.

aw thankyou Gordi, I needed that. I feel like an idiot everytime i write something and i never win. It's disheartening.

But for you i will try again, thankyou.

I heard you weren't feeling well, i hope you're feeling better now.
